Red Rides And Retribution

A/N: Well, here we are again at the start of another story. This is another Alternate Universe, so please bear with the random turnings of my mind as it tries to work out the details.
Loyalties will be tested, friendships made and broken, and retribution (revenge) will abound. Please enjoy this journey with me.

Chapter one

Teresa Lisbon sat back in her chair and toyed with her loaded pistol. She listened nonchalantly to the man before her as he pleaded his case. He was from a rival gang, Blood Guns, and had been caught selling drugs in Outbackers territory. The Blood Guns, run by Kimball Cho, had been at war with the Outbackers since both had been formed ten years earlier.

Both were biker gangs, and had held the southern part of Sacramento in fear for the better part of a decade. The Outbackers, lead by Teresa Lisbon, were in control of the western half of the south. Blood Guns held the other half of the south. There was a bitter rivalry between the gangs, often resulting in death and destruction of property.

Lisbon leant forwards, and the man cringed away. He had heard stories of this woman shooting men twice her size for lesser charges than his current one. That had earned her the nickname Trigger Lizzy within the gang, although nobody would dare to call her that to her face; they valued their lives too much for that.

She put the pistol down, and turned to her second in command. A foot taller than her, and with dark hair, Wayne 'Rigger' Rigsby was a force to reckon with. His forearms were tattooed with symbols from his life, and a long scar ran down the side of his neck. "Rigger," said Lisbon, standing up. "Take this man back to the border, cap him, and send a message to the Bloods."

Rigsby nodded, and gestured with his head to the two men at the door. The three of them grabbed the man and dragged him from the room. Lisbon's order was to shoot out his kneecaps and send a message to the Blood Guns to keep off of their territory.

Lisbon sat back in her chair again. Her loose jeans made a slight rustle as she put her feet up on the table. She considered the war between her gang and the Blood Guns. She knew she was referred to as Trigger Lizzy, and felt almost proud with the name. It had taken her a long time to build up her gang's reputation for gun fire and ruthlessness. She had come out from Chicago after her father had been arrested for selling drugs. Her mother had left when she was twelve, taking her three brothers with her.

Lisbon's father had taught her everything he knew about selling drugs, and she had been dealing from the age of sixteen. Her father had been arrested when she was seventeen, and was serving the end part of his twenty year sentence. Lisbon had moved to California, and hadn't taken long to get into the drug scene there. She never used herself, and had made a friend and ally in Rigsby. He had the contacts from his father, and their reputation had grown. Their love of motorcycles had drawn people to the gang, and their reach had spread.

Until the Blood Guns had arrived on the scene. They originated from Oakland, and had split off from the Avon Park Playboys. Kimball Cho went by the name Iceman, and Lisbon had tangled with him a few times. They had eventually agreed to split the territory in half, effectively controlling much of the turf war that went on. But it was still a battle to prevent either side from taking chances, like this man had done.

The Blood Guns were also bikers, and rode modified Freeway Choppers decorated with their distinctive black and red blood drops on the gas tank. Their jackets were black leather, embroidered with their name and a bloody gun on the back, and a mock bullet hole over the heart.

Lisbon's gang wore black leather jackets with their name embroidered across the back, and emblazoned with dark green flames. There was a green skull over the heart. Lisbon's gang rode dark green modified Angel Choppers, adorned with and orange skull on the gas tank.

As Lisbon contemplated all of this in the back room of the darkened bar in the west of south Sacramento, on the east side, Kimball 'Iceman' Cho was furious. One of his men wasn't careful enough, and had shown up on the border in the classic Trigger Lizzy style, missing both kneecaps, and with an 'O' carved into the back of his leg. The 'O' was known to be the signature of Rigger, and Cho was ready for blood. This was the third time in the last month that one of his men had turned up like this at the hands of Trigger Lizzy. He slammed his hand down on the bar in rare frustration. "We cannot keep turning up like this, men. Trigger Lizzy and her Outbackers have taken too many of our lives already."

The men all muttered their agreement, and the second in command turned to Cho. "Iceman," said Dennis 'Shotgun' Abbott. "Do we hit them?"

Cho nodded, his face grim. "Shotgun, you take four guys, ride over there, and shoot some of her guys. Try get back here without getting yourselves shot."

Abbott nodded, and turned. He signalled to four guys, and they left the bar together. Cho heard the bikes start up outside, and paced silently. The rest of the men in the bar were busy playing pool and drinking, and a few women mingled between them. Cho disappeared through to the back room of the bar, and sat at the table there. His pistol lay on the surface, and he picked it up. It was heavy in his hand, and he fiddled with the safety. Half an hour passed before the door at the end opened. Abbott entered, and shut the door again. "Iceman," he said, unzipping his jacket. "We tried to hit them, but we couldn't. They had guns on the roof. Started shooting as we turned the corner to the bar. We had to turn tail or we all would have died."

Cho shut his eyes. "Did you all make it back?"

Abbott nodded. "Yes, we all made it back with no holes in us."

Cho stood up. "I think it's time to plan an old-fashioned hit on the Outbackers again."

Abbott smiled, and followed Cho out to the bar.

A/N2: Well, a short introduction to what has been in my mind over the last few days or so. I just want to say that the bikes mentioned do come from a video game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I don't know much about motorbikes, but decided that fictional bikes would be best. I also did edit Lisbon's story slightly, in order for it to fit into the scenario. Please leave me a review to let me know what you think of the scenario and the idea. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
