One day Rory is working behind the counter at Luke's when a cute boy walk's in and sit's at the counter and she smiles and pretend's she doesn't know his name.
''hey can I get you something?'' she asks him
''No you know what bugs me?'' he asks her
''um people taking your order?'' she asks him
''No taking people's order's.'' he tells her
''why would you do that?'' she asks him
''you don't know my dad.'' he tells her
''no I guess I don't and I'll have a coffee and chocolate milk shake please.'' he tells her
''coming up so rough week?'' she asks him
''rough year.'' he tells her
''hey your the captain of the football team right
''yeah.'' he tells her and smiles
''yeah and your the girl from drama club and the news paper.'' he says
''yeah I am.
''so do you like working on the news paper?'' he asks her
''yeah it's not too bad I've always wanted to be a journalist.'' she tells him
''that's cool.'' he says
''yeah so do you write any?'' she asks him
''yea I've always wanted to be a writer but my dad has other plan's for me.'' he tells her
''oh right so what does he want you to do?'' she asks him
''go to USC and play football and then take over his car wash business with him.'' he tells her
''oh.'' Rory says
''so do you like working here?'' he asks her
''um yea it's not to bad it gives me a little extra cash at the end of the week.'' she tells him
''doesn't your step father run and own this place?'' he asks her
''yes he does'' she tells him
''he's not here right now?'' he asks her
''No he went shopping to the mall or something with my mom and here's your milshake would you like whipped cream on that?'' she tells and asks him
''yes please.'' he tells her
Rory put's some whipped cream on his milk shake.
''thank you.'' he says
''your welcome.'' Rory says and just watches him
