ONE
A sharp pain shoots though my chest and too my heart and then darkness.
( cgi/set?id=154908324 )I awoke some hours later with this deep hunger growing inside of me, my siblings were lying across the room from me they were lying still and un-moving and I desperately tried to wake each of them but they didn't wake which made me nervous and scared.
I sat and waited for them to wake, and I kept praying that they would and that they would be alright like I had. At last one moved. Elijah my older brother began to stir from his spot on the floor, his white night shirt was soaked though with blood much like my own and I instantly let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank god" I mutter to myself "Elijah" I crawled over to him and help him sit up. I tried to stand but found that I couldn't as my legs felt weak and it felt like I hadn't moved them in a while. The hunger that started out as a simple craving was getting worse and it was starting to make me physically sick.
"Sister, what has happened?" he asks, his face holds shock as he looks at my blood socked night gown and then looked at his own.
"I do not know, Elijah" I say with a shaking voice as the tears began to spill from my chocolate brown eyes. "But I fear that it is bad…" I have never felt so scared or worried before – well except when my father would get mad but he normally took it out on Niklaus.
Elijah took me in his arms and rocked me back and forth trying to comfort me. It would normally work if the situation had not been so dire.
There was a deep groan next to us and I saw Kol sit up, he looked around before spotting us and he came towards me and took me out of Elijah's embrace and into his own one.
Kol and I are twins. I am closer to him then I am to any of my other siblings and me being the youngest out of us makes him overly protective of me.
It was only a short while later when the rest of my siblings woke up and much like myself and Elijah and Kol they woke in fear and confusion.
My father Mikael came in with one of the girls from our village, I had only seen her around before and I was sure that her name was Isabella she looked dazed like she didn't know what was happening but you could still clearly see the fear in her eyes.
"Father, what is this?" my older brother Klaus asked from the corner of the room where he was currently embracing Rebekah to try and calm her down.
"Quite, boy!" he spat at Niklaus as he slit the girls wrist making her blood ooze out and drip down her arm.
He went for me first as I was the nearest to him. He grabbed a fist full of my hair and pulled me harshly towards the girl, he ignored the protests and pleas my siblings were giving him to stop and pushed my head down towards the girls arm so that my mouth filled with the young girl's blood.
The blood trickled down my throat curing the burning hunger inside of me and making me want more of it.
As soon as I had enough I felt strange my gums hurt. My hand flew to my mouth as the pain became so intense that I cried out for help.
Each of my sibling's in turn drank from the girl till she was drained of her blood.
My father than left to dispose of the body and the worst thing about it was that he wore a sick and twisted smile on his face as he walked out of our family's hut.
This was our first night as vampires... and the night we found out what Klaus truly was.
Although Mother was ashamed and Father hated Klaus for what he was none of my siblings did nor did I, not until he started hurting us in unspeakable ways such as a dagger to the heart. I love my big brother and just because we didn't share the same father didn't mean anything. He was always so protective of me and my younger sister Rebekah as we were the only girls and that never changed.

Weeks later
( cgi/set?id=13885... ) my mother had made us each daylight rings so we could walk in the sun and live our lives as 'normally' or as normal as possible.
Kol and I had gotten closer since we became what we are he felt he needed to protect me from the people that may hurt us, even though I explained that we cannot be harmed anymore as we burnt down the only thing that could kill us -the white oak tree, but he still insisted on escorting me everywhere.

Kol and I were taking a walk in our village; most of the villagers would hide from us in their homes as they had heard stories about us and they started claiming that we are demons and devils.
I spotted my childhood friend Thomas and I called after him
"Thomas!" he turned in mine and Kol's direction and scowled.
He was one of my closest friends and I didn't want him to abandon me like the rest of the village. They all shut themselves out from us because they saw the darkness we held in each of our hearts.
Thomas began walking away from me and Kol.
"Thomas, what have I done?" I asked helplessly as he continued to walk away from me.
"I shall not speak to you. You whore of Satan!" he shouted back to us but as soon as the words left his mouth he was pinned against a tree by Kol.
"You will not speak to my sister like that, in fact you shall not speak to my sister again" Kol compelled. Thomas nodded before Kol dragged me away. We had only just learned that we could control people like that I had yet to try it but Kol seemed to love using it on people in the village especially the young girls.
"Come, sister" he linked my arm with his and directed me back to our hut that was located towards the end of the village.
As we entered the hut that we lived in we saw that only Klaus was home. He was sitting on the floor next to the fire staring at it, it was like he had not heard us enter our home.
I walked up next to him and sat beside him.
"What's the matter Nik?" I asked. He turned towards me a small smile placed on his lips as I placed my hand comfortingly on his shoulder. His long blonde hair was braided back in such a manner that told me that Rebekah had done it for him earlier in the day.
"It does not matter, sister" he mutter making me scowl. I bet it is to do with his love Tatia mysteriously 'leaving' I would not dare say it but I was glad that she had left, she was causing a rift between Elijah and Klaus that I could not bear to see.
"What are you doing Amelia?" I turned towards the owner of the voice, my angry looking father.
"Nothing father" I stated while getting up from my place at the fire next to Nik hoping to avoid conflict with my father by leaving before he got too angry. I was hoping to take Klaus with me but the glare that father sent me told me to leave him where he was.
I walked out of the house and started walking toward the river where I knew Rebekah would be, I could already hear the shouts from inside my house led by my brother and father.
The river was a place my siblings and I would come to if we had finished our daily chores or we had a fight with father; it was a special place and none more so to my little sister Rebekah. It was calm and not many of the villagers went there so it was quite.
Once I reached the river I noticed Rebekah sitting on the grass near the bank. I ran up to her and sat beside her on the grass.
She smiled "it is beautiful here, is it not sister?" she asked while raising her hand to shield her eyes from the glaring son her other hand was holding her up as she lay on the grass.
"Yes it is Rebekah" I say with a smile on my face.
We spent many hours just sitting their together- I always felt protective over Rebekah, she was my little sister and it was my duty to protect her from the evil of the world and it seemed I had already failed that.
