Mirror of Erised Chapter II

Thanks rhmac12 for the inspiration to write a part two. Because of the awesome review and the request to continue the story I did, Thanks! R&R and Enjoy!

Ron, Harry, and Hermione in the Great Hall. Each of them eating their usual breakfast. Hermione was reading while Ron and Harry talked. Ginny came behind Hermione and sat next to her. Hermione looked up and greeted her with her same "Hello" and continued to read. "Hermione, Can you stop reading?" Ron reached across the long table with tons of foods stretched across it. He tossed Hermione's book. "Excuse Me, Ronald!" Hermione picked up her book and gave Ron a look. "Is something up that I don't know about?" Ginny whispered to Harry. "I-You know every other day something up with them" Harry gave a sheepish laugh and tried to cover up what happened last night. Ron, Harry, and Hermione all looked into the mirror of Erised. Ron saw Hermione, and Harry was almost sure Hermione saw Ron. Although they are both scared to talk about it. "I don't understand…" Ginny trailed of. Harry thought to say, "You shouldn't" but he decided not to.

The same day In the common room, Hermione and Ron sat next to each other on the couch. Ron stared at Hermione. "You want to tell me what you saw in the mirror, Hermione?" Ron teased. "I rather not" Smirked Hermione. "Come on!" Ron said. "No, Ronald!" Hermione said. Harry walked in, "Is it really worth the fight?" Harry said jokingly but Ron and Hermione didn't find it funny. Hermione crossed her arms. "Give me a hint…" Ron faded out. Hermione rolled her eyes. "I guess your just going to have to assume…"

"I mean… what do you think she saw?" Ron said looking at the ceiling. Harry and Ron were in their dorms. "I'm not sure, mate" Harry turned off his light. "Huh" Ron grunted and tried to fall asleep.

On the other hand Hermione couldn't sleep. She just couldn't believe it. How long had she thought that Ron loved her? How could she be wrong? "I'm never wrong!" Hermione thought. She couldn't do this. Maybe she hadn't seen it right. There was only one way to find out.

Hermione walked up to the mirror. It killed her inside to see her and Ron kiss when it wasn't real. A cold shiver reached her spine. She turned slowly. Someone wasn't here were they? She continued to study the mirror. She put her palm on the shadow of Ron's face. "Ron" she whispered, but at the same time someone in chorus said "Hermione." Hermione's eyes widened. "Oh my, Ron?" Ron came behind the other side of the mirror and looked at Hermione. "I didn't know the Mirror was double sided" Ron said awkwardly. Hermione shook her head and looked down. "Neither did I.." She smacked her lips together. "I-" Hermione tried but Ron interrupted. "I'm starting to think of why you didn't tell me what you saw" said Ron. "Yes, and I'm starting to see why you lied to me about what you did" Hermione said in a matter-of-fact tone. She swayed in spot. "This is what I saw" he said and took Hermione and kissed her full on the mouth. In the background was a tall mirror with a tall redhead and a brown haired know-it-all did the same.
