"Coming to Capeside"
It was a cold, sunny November day. Natalie Townsend, Ivy Bennet, and Serena Crane had just moved to sunny Capeside from dreary Virginia. They moved to Seafare Drive, right on the Creek. They were eager to meet their new neighbors, so they decided to walk next door, and see who lived there. They climbed up the stairs to the porch, and knocked on the door. An old lady with brownish hair opened the door.
"Well hello girls. Are they collecting money for the Christmas children at church already??"
Natalie, Ivy, and Serena exchanged looks.
"Umm, no. Actually we just moved in next door, and wanted to come meet our neighbors." Said Natalie.
Just then a girl who looked about 16, with wavy blonde hair came down.
"Hey Jack, sorry I made you wa-" she said.
"Sorry. Thought you were someone else."
She turned to go back upstairs, but Grams caught her and said
"Now Jennifer, I would like you to meet our new neighbors-Natalie, Ivy, and Serena."
"Pleased to meet you" Jennifer said, as she outstretched her hand.
"It's Jennifer, right?" asked Ivy.
"Jen's fine." Said Jen. So, who's who??" she asked
"I'm Natalie." Said the girl on the right
"I'm Ivy," said the middle girl.
"And I'm Serena", said the girl on the left.
"So will you be attending the wonderful Capeside High School??" Jen asked sarcastically
"Afraid so," said Natalie.
"Hey Jen sorry I'm lat- sorry I didn't know you had company" said the tall, dark haired, cute guy.
"No it's okay, these are our new neighbors. Natalie, Ivy, and Serena." Said Jen.
"Well if you had moved here about a year ago, you would have been my neighbors too. I'm Jack." Said jack.
"Hey!" said all three girls. "Nice to meet you." They shook hands.
" I just want to get it out in the open that I'm gay. I had a not-so-pretty incident last week, and I don't like deja-vu, so there you go." Said jack.
"Hey, you guys want to join us?? We were just going down to the Rialto to catch Charlie's Angels." Asked Jen
The three girls exchanged nods, and Serena said "sure."
They all hopped into Jen's car, and drove down to the Rialto.
"It's so pretty here," said Natalie, as they passed the beach to get to the theater.
"Yeah, where we used to live, the nearest beach was 200 miles away," added Ivy.
"Yeah? Where're you from??" asked jack.
"Richmond Virginia," replied Serena.
"I know what you mean," added Jen. " I come from the Big Apple. Sure, lots of rivers, but no real beaches."
"I love New York!" Ivy and Natalie said.
"Sure, the stores, clubs, restaurants are great, nothing like them. But the people..." said Jen
They heard a car honk at them.
"Speaking of the people..." said jack.
"Who's that??" asked Serena
"Only the most horrible, snaky, obnoxious person alive." Jen replied.
"If Mariah was here, she'd be screaming and waving back at him." Natalie said.
"No kidding," said Serena.
"Yet another plus to moving to Capeside." Said Ivy.
"Who's Mariah??" asked Jen.
"Another one of those People..." replied Natalie.
"ahh," Jen and jack said in reply.
They pulled in the theater parking lot and got out of the car, when they heard 4 voices yell
"Hey Nat!! Serena!! Ivy!! Over Here!!"
They 3 looked over to see Ann Oying, Jill Jones, Tiffany Chad, and Mariah Casey. Just the people they didn't want to see at the moment.
