Disclaimed: I don't own it, JK does.

Christmas is coming nearer, in fact, it was already here. The snow was heaping itself against the castle walls, and landed gracefully around the landscape like a giant duvet. A girl sat on a bench below a window using the moons gloomy light while she read her book.
The hallways were empty except for a shadow standing behind a marble statue; he looked at the girl by the window and a smile replace the frown his face had been in before. He then turned silently and walked away, thinking he could tell her some other time, some other day. He could always find excuses.
The girl looked up, a feeling of being watched; when she looked towards the statue she sawed the retreating figure. "There he is again, he's been coming every night now" she thought, she got up and walked to were the shadow had been standing just minutes ago, she looked around for any clue of who he… or she, were. On the ground she found a small present wrapped in red paper with a golden ribbon. There were a small note tide to present, it read,
Hermione!
On Christmas you tell the truth, and I will,
I must let you know; I really love you and
Only wish you the best, I'm sorry for hurting
You in the past, I was a fool!, it breaks my heart
Thinking of how it can never be us, they would
Never understand!
Even though the note had no signature she knew whom it was from.

When the owls came to deliver the post the next morning a barn owl flew gracefully and landed in front of Draco Malfoy. He untied the note from its leg and saw it flew away before he turned his attention to the note itself. There was only one sentence,
Don't care so much of what others say and think
He looked up, over all the heads in the Great Hall he saw her leave. With a brief glanc at him, she left thought the open doors.
He got up and followed her out. He saw a glimpse of her back as she turned around a corner. He hurried after her and called her name. She turned around and smiled, "I knew you would come after me"
She started to walk towards him and halfway in the corridor they met in an embrace they wanted to share long.
