Looking at her as they sat across from one another Nathan smiled.

She was nibbling her pen in concentration at some piece of paperwork she had no doubt been putting off and was struggling to do or keep her concentration.

It had been a few weeks since she had kissed him.

That slight pressure on his cheek wouldn't normally have registered any response but in an instant tingling and warmth spread across his face and then down through his body.

He still hadn't told her that he could feel her. Or that her touch made him giddy.

How could he break that news to her? Ok Haven had instantly thrown her in the deep end with the strange occurrences and the strange people but he wasn't sure how she would react to that. He still couldn't get over it himself.

A touch, He couldn't remember exactly when he'd last felt one, who gave it to him or what exactly it was like. That was the problem you took everything for granted. If he'd known he'd never feel again he would have remembered.

Some called it a reawakening. Well he sure was awake now.

Audrey's hands were soft and her lips were too. He stared slightly at her parted lips as she took a breath and ran her fingers through her hair.

Gently touching his cheek he could still feel the warmth of her breath and the feel of her lips brush against his face. The jolt had made his breath catch and now he relished every small touch or a small tiny brush.

Sometimes he wondered if she knew he was staring or knew what he was doing. He hoped she didn't and then again he hoped she did.

He just wished he could tell her how he felt. Maybe she felt something too. Sometimes her eyes would widen when they touched or she would ask him if he was ok. Of course he choked up when she asked so he simply said yes.

Taking a deep breath he asked, 'Hey Audrey do you want a coffee?'

She lifted her eyes and smiled widely, 'Thanks Nathan I'd love one.'

Getting up from his seat he headed to the coffee machine. Pouring her a generous coffee he headed back to their small cramped office.

Kicking back in her chair she accepted the mug from him with a large smile and a grateful sigh, 'Thanks.'

Their fingers touched and the warmth tingled along his nerve endings encouraging the flame to ignite. It flickered along them and made his heart beat faster.

He never wanted to stop feeling her touch and her presence next to his.

Never having felt anything since "The troubles" first arrived in Haven he never thought someone would reignite his need for human contact. He'd given himself up to being lost forever to that whole relationship thing but now here she was.

No woman had ever made him feel this way. Feel, feelings and touch words those words never existed yet alone were actually apparent in his day to day life.

Taking a crafty last glance he looked down at his work.

Feeling a warm gaze on his body criss crossing and taking him in. Tapping his own pen he lifted his eyes up from the blank notepaper and caught her smiling at him. Smiling back they just stared at one another. Now he knew she had sort of guessed something the light flush on her cheeks made him take a deep breath. Now he knew for sure she felt him too but in a different way.
