"Morning." Nick said to Jackie as she opened her eyes.

"Morning." She replied as she gave him a smile.

"Sleep well?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, you?"

"Yes."

He reached over and grabbed her hand, sighing contently. He loved the moments early in the morning when they were laying in bed together before any of the kids got up. These moments didn't happen very often thanks to him working the grave shift, and also because of the kids, so when they did happen, he savored them.

This moment wouldn't last long though because within a couple minutes Hundley came into the room and climbed on the bed.

"Hi kiddo." Nick said as he tousled her hair.

"Hi dada, hi mama." She said with a sleepy smile.

"Good morning sweetheart." Jackie told her.

"Hi baby." Hundley said as she patted Jackie's tummy.

Nick's eyes got as big as watermelon as he looked over at Jackie.

Jackie immediately shook her head no at him.

"Sweetheart, there isn't a baby in mommy's tummy." Jackie informed her.

"Yeah."

"No there isn't."

"But me want one to be in there." The little girl said.

"Well sweetheart there isn't a baby in mommy's tummy but you have baby Nora."

"Me mad at baby No."

"You are, why?" Jackie asked.

"Because yesterday me was holdin' baby No and her tooted on me." Hundley told her, sounding completely outraged.

Jackie looked over at Nick, he smiled and shook his head yes to confirm Hundley's story. He'd been helping Hundley hold Nora yesterday when this had happened. Hundley had been livid and apparently she hadn't gotten over it yet.

Jackie was now desperately trying not to laugh.

"Well kiddo, I'm sure baby Nora didn't mean to toot on you, it was an accident." Jackie said, seriously trying to maintain a straight face.

Hundley gave Jackie the stink eye for taking Nora's side.

She crawled over Nick and off the bed.

"Come on Dada." She told Nick as she grabbed his hand and started pulling on it.

"Where are we going?" Nick asked her.

"Me hungry." She informed him.

"You are?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, do you want some waffles?"

"Yeah." Hundley said happily.

"Alright, come on, I'll go make you waffles." He replied as he got out of bed.

As soon as they were out of the room Jackie started laughing hysterically. Hundley was so funny and such a firecracker!
