me- a little something. if you don't like Sasori/Deidara doon't read and flame. please that's just plain stupid.

disclaimer-I don't own any of them, if i did, Sasuke would die, the Akatsuki would rule the world, and Sakura would stop loving Sasuke.

A fleeting moment of attraction. That's what Deidara would have liked to think about it. He smiled ruefully up at the sky.

"Can you hear me, Sasori-no-danna un?" Deidara jumped out of the way of a kunai.

The red eyes of Uchiha Sasuke glared at him. Deidara threw out a clay bomb, hoping to confuse him.

"You were right danna, some things do go on for ever." The blond smiled sadly as he fell.

"What's wrong? Too tired?" Sasuke taunted. Deidara landed on his back, head bouncing off of the ground.

He winced and sat up slowly. "Not even close you Uchiha brat un." He yelled back.

Sasuke jumped down, crouching near Deidara. The Akatsuki member put his hands in his pouches, mouths chewing clay. He pulled his hands out, clay snaking its way to latch onto Sasuke.

The darker haired male snarled and used lightening to shock the snakes, turning them black. Deidara cut them off, looking fondly at the ruined clay. He sighed and looked up as the Uchiha fell to his knees, holding onto his arms.

"Time for my ultimate masterpiece un!" He pulled off his shirt. "I'll explode myself, turning into the best work of art I can make un!" He raised his hand and cut at the string holding together the big mouth on his chest.

Sasuke looked around and started to stand only to fall down again. He tried to move again, never getting any farther.

Deidara smirked wide and started to feed the mouth clay. It greedily ate the clay, making lines appear on Deidara's body.

The blond looked up at the sky, smiling softly. "I'm sorry I didn't say bye to that idiot un." He sighed softly and let the mouth chew the clay. "Ready to be amazed at my art un!" He turned invisible, starting at his feet.

"Damn it!" Sasuke cursed loudly, trying harder to get away.

His legs disappeared, slowly creeping up his torso. "I thought it was just a fleeting moment of affection un." He mused. "Guess not." He felt his hands disappear. Where they were before, now there was an empty space and a tingly feeling. "Sasori-no-danna... I hope I see you soon..." He smirked at the struggling Uchiha. "Prepare to die Uchiha un!"

Sasuke looked up at him one more time. His face distorted and sweat-soaked.

Only Deidara's head was left. "My ultimate masterpiece! C0 un!"

His face disappeared and a bright flash with a loud bang followed.

Tobi stopped and turned around. "Deidara-sempai?" He felt around for his chakra. "No! Deidara-sempai is gone! But, but, but, Tobi is a good boy!" The masked man yelled, dropping to his knees, covering his eye hole with an arm.

"I love you Sasori-no-danna." Was whispered on the winds that blew past softly. Tobi looked up and around. He shrugged and stood up, wiping his eye, before running to tell Leader-sama what happened with a heavy heart.
