"She's not an idiot, she knows it can't happen, she's not expecting us to—to end up married, or—" "As he said it, a vivid picture formed in Harry's mind of Ginny in a white dress, marrying a tall, faceless, and unpleasant stranger. Everyone was busy with the arrangements of Harry's birthday dinner and the wedding taking place the following day. Harry knew that he couldn't have a future with Ginny in it and she deserved someone who wasn't in freaking situations every other day. He couldn't risk Ginny's life but to think of her marrying someone else left Harry with unbearable pain. It was then when he heard Hermione's scream. He ran into the living room with his wand out and as expected in these dark times everyone else was also there. Their wands pointed at the table where a golden light was fading to reveal a stack of papers with a letter on top of it.

"Harry, it is for you….." Hermione said timidly from where she was standing near the table. Harry picked it p and indeed it was addressed to him.

Dear Harry,

This is a gift for your seventeenth birthday, a ray of hope that everyone needs. These papers describe some events of 19 years after the war. They are made by some memories and complicated magic. Read them with the Weasley family, the Delacours Hagrid, Remus and Tonks. Happy birthday….
