I let the blade slice my arm again and again, tears rolling down my face, burning my cheeks, blood dripping to the cold wooden floor. I hated my life, my parents died when I was eight and I was put into an orphanage because I had no one left by then. By the time I was twelve, I started self harming as it was the only way to take away the pain of having nothing, no one to care for. I was the oldest in the orphanage, sixteen years old and I still hadn't been fostered or adopted. I wouldn't eat and if I did I threw it back up, I felt like a huge fuck up with cut up wrists and ribs showing through her skin. That's me Alessandria, the freakish emo girl nobody wants.
I sat on my windowsill watching another little girl go home to her new family, tears prickled in my eyes as she waved up at me, I waved back a little as she got in the large red Range Rover. There was a knock on my bedroom door.
"Alessandria are you in there?" It was Nadine, my social worker.
"Yeah I'm here," I answered and she opened the door, popping her head around.
"Can you please come down stairs for a moment, there is someone here to see you, well some people," she smiled. "I think they may want to adopt you, they seem your kind people." She meant emo; she always means emo.
"Wait, back up, someone wants to adopt me?" I asked, shocked.
"Yes Aless now come on, they won't wait much longer if you're not going to come down!" She exclaimed. I sorted my hair out and fixed my eyeliner, pulling on my black hoodie. I bounded downstairs followed by Nadine. She opened the door to the meeting room and gestured me in.
I nearly fainted when I saw who was in the room. Andy Biersack, Ashley Purdy, Jeremy Ferguson aka Jinxx, Jake Pitts and Christian Coma were all sat on one of the black couches. They were my favourite band Black Veil Brides. I stood there awestruck.
"This is Alessandria, she's sixteen years old and I think she may just be your taste." She gestured my black and red hair, black clothing and heavily eye lined eyes. I grunted at her in return for her bitchiness. They all waved at me and I all of a sudden felt extremely awkward.
