My note: okay, as I think you already knows, this is the first time I am writing my official fanfic. So I would appreciate very much of your reviews. Thanks! =)
Lily's POV
There was a sound of banging and yelling of kids in the forest.
Were there water cannon in the forest? Percy had fought them, and controlled them.
Can it be true? Still, in the earlier dreams… there were no cannon.
Just a big forest and a small creek in which he have been claimed.
And the faces of his friends were different…
a girl with golden hair and intense grey eyes, a mysterious-looking girl living in a cave, some tough-looking boyish-girl, who Percy had saved her quest.
And, a Cyclopes, a boy with a skull ring, and a satyr…
What the hell is going on?
I ran into the forest, just to be sure. And, I knew my instinct was wrong.
It was another faraway camp, the one with the blurry vision.
Why had I gotten here? I was at the high hill, so I looked down, scanning the crowd with my keen eyes. A tall boy with green eyes and dark hair was not in the battle.
A blonde–haired boy was running up and down, fighting like an eagle, ordering his team continuously. There was something familiar about him…
On his side was a cute-looking girl, maybe fourteen to sixteen at most, and another boy, with his hands on fire. That must be Hephaestus, I thought.
My mom had once told me about all the god's children's special abilities, along with their symbols.
She was also good at both Ancient Greek and Latin, so she taught me Latin even before I could speak English.
Another girl who caught my eye was that boyish-girl, fighting against that blonde boy.
She was fighting, yeah, but her defense was surely not going well.
She kept offending, slashing with her….was that the electric spear?
But the boy smiled and with his knife, he slashed and jabbed. It was not a desperate situation,
but I smiled and lunged into the downhill, to Clarisse's side.
I could have laid flat down if it weren't for my bracelet.
Like mom had said, I relied on my instinct and took a deep breath, calling myself from inside. Without realizing, my left hand was on my right wrist, and I tapped the metal bracelet lightly.
As it touched the cold metal, it expanded into a knife, a golden one like the boy's.
I frowned. Was it only a knife? I tapped once more, and this time, it lengthened, growing until it became the silver sword.
My mom had just once let me use a sword, with the familiar shape.
Then, I realized, mom was using this all along, protecting me from monsters and others who wanted to kill me just because I was daughter of all-mighty god.
The images of the last battle I have fought flashed in my mind, and I thought of the golden knife that mom had handed to me last time, at another camp…
enough, I ordered myself.
Mom had instructed me not to tell anybody of my memories and experiences I had in the younger days.
I shook my head, and inhaled sharply, drawing the sweet scents of the forest and scanning the crowd once again.
Clarisse was doing pretty well on her own, trying to jab the boy with her electric spear, but it has been a long time since I experienced, or even saw a group of half-bloods gathered together.
Well, it won't hurt to exercise some, wouldn't it? I told myself, and with my right hand clasping tightly on my golden knife, I charged.
was it okay? i have midterm coming up right next month, so i won't be able to post again soon enough. But i will try to come back as soon as possible.
