"Tenma-chan…"
The wind rustled as the brunette turned around and looked at a man.
He was your average school delinquent… a failure in his academic life. Some people would even think that he was the product of this slowly-rotting society, but he was actually someone more that that…
She looked at the man's passionate eyes, eyes stricken with a flame that shone brightly as she flashed a smile at him…
Little did she know that the delinquent actually liked her… or she didn't know it at all…
She was an average school girl… or maybe not, due to her mind which always came up with the weirdest antics… as well as her poor comprehension…
She looked at the guy as her lips gently moved asking
"What is it?"
"There's something I have to tell you…"
The delinquent stuttered as paused to search for the right words to say… Looking at her gave him a rush of bizarre feelings… she was simply lovely…
There was silence as the leaves fell to the ground. The orange sun was already hiding behind the mountains, anticipating rest after a whole day of work. He didn't have much time…
"The truth is…"
His heart beat faster every second. He looked at her eyes, and immediately felt a lump stuck in his throat.
He just couldn't do it… he couldn't say what he really wanted her to know…
He stared at the ground and back at her eyes, which gave back a puzzled expression…
He clutched his fists and gave a deep breath as he gathered every ounce of courage he had.
"The truth is…"
He shook as he opened his mouth and hoped that the words would just find their way out…
He suddenly closed his eyes and looked at the girl again. He knew what to say…
"The truth is… I have… I have… these feelings for you!"
Both of them froze as a moment of silence befell them. The girl looked at him, this time with eyes gentler than before. He looked at the girl once more and closed his eyes. He was about to say another word when he felt her head collide with his chest.
The wind blew gently once more, and the only phrase he heard was the whisper of her sweet voice…
"I love you too, Kenji-kun…"
