Riley's Big Night
A small walk on a sun tinted beach may be the biggest night of Riley's life. Rucas oneshot.

Riley's POV
I walked happily down the sun tinted beach. Lucas's hand was interlaced with mine, but he wasn't looking at me, or anything really. Just the ground.
But this was the problem. He hadn't talked to anyone ever since Tuesday.
Flashback:
" So Riles, how have things been going between you and Lucas?" Maya asked.
" Fine, but he hasn't talked much lately. How are you and Farkle doing?" I replied.
" He's working really hard on his company, his dad is really pushing him, so he's kinda snappy, but at the end of day he apologizes to me for being rude."
" Do you forgive him?"
" Yeah, I mean I am his girlfriend, but at the end of the day, you can't help but love him."
" Yeah."
" So are you worried about Lucas?"
" Yeah."
" What are you going to do?"
" Dunno."
" Riles, don't get too scared. I mean it may turnout to be a wonderful surprise."
" Yeah, I know."
" Can you stop saying 'yeah'?"
" Yeah."
End of Flashback
"Hey Lucas are you okay?"
"Hmm? Oh, yeah. Just thinking about how I am gonna word something to you. "
I looked at him suddenly, not knowing what to say. If he was being silent because of me, I wondered what he was going to do.
Was he breaking up with me? Did he love another girl?
Or might it be a wonderful thing, like was gonna propose?
Then I stopped right in my tracks. Was he gonna propose?
"Lucas? Why have you been silent since Tuesday?" I asked suddenly curiously worried.
Then, as if he expected the question, he bent down, on one knee, and gently took my hand.
"Riley, I've been in love with you since the day you fell into my lap on the subway. I knew I couldn't hold it back, so I bought a ring."
I gaped slightly at this. I...I hadn't known. He continued.
"Riley Amy Matthews, will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" Lucas asked.
I just stared at him for two minutes. Two long minutes of dead silence. I finally answered.
"I...I...yes!"
He hugged me tight, and slid the ring on my finger.
My heart was pounding in my chest so loudly, I was sure he heard it.
Then just as the sun went down, we kissed.
Okay so this was my first fanfiction. I am really proud of it since I started it. I had so much fun writing it. When I first started, I thought it wasn't gonna be good so I was pretty discouraged. But after a small chat with my friend Jessica, I wrote this because she really inspired me. I kinda wrote it for her since she ships this and I've known her a her cousin, Selena, since we were maybe 6 months old. We've all stayed BFF's, so this pretty much for them. Also, I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST LUCAYA AND RIARKLE. I just had to get this idea off my chest.
