Parker never really celebrated mother's day. For one it was because she never appreciated her mom. Being slapped around by her father while starving for day while her mother was who knows where, was not exactly a good childhood. Being violated in her sleep without being able to do anything is not a good childhood and being kicked out of the house, (if you could call it house) for telling the truth was not a good childhood. It just wasn't. So basically that explains why Parker didn't know anything about Mother's day or the importance until A day before mother's day. It was on TV: Do you remember when your mom was there for you, Through the crying, and wet beds through the TALK and everything in between? Well if you do why don't you come on to Daisy's. Where you can find beautiful banquets that will fill your mother's heart with love. So come on down to Daisy's. The announcer spoke. Parker had zoned out by then.

Parker

Mother's day? I cried in front of Sophie, once, but it sure did make me feel much, much better. I had never wet my bed but, one time when I was having a nightmare after Nate went to jail Sophie came in and held me tight until I felt better. Her hugs had nice feelings to them and they made me feel much, much better. Sophie gave me the TALK I think she did? Well if the talk was about not running with a lollipop in your mouth or, about saying there is a razor in someone's apple or even stabbing someone with a fork, then we had had the talk. And if everything in between was when Sophie had taken care of me when what Sophie calls mother nature hit then Sophie indeed was a mother. It's odd though, could Sophie even be a mom? She acted like one but, if Sophie is a mom the does that mean that I have to give her a present? Do you have to get a mom a present in mother's day.

Parker sat there thinking till she came to a conclusion.

The next day Mother's day

Sophie walked down the stairs to the living room to find a very small long box on her coffee table with a card attached.

Sophie looked down at the box and opened it slowly. In the Box was a big lump of money and on the corner of each bill was a P written in marker which was no surprise since Parker marks her money with a P. What surprised her was right beside the letter P was a letter S. Sophie anxiously picked up the letter wanting t know who sent her the letter even though she already knew. She opened the letter.

Dear Sophie:

I really don't know what it is but, it's Mother's Day and something inside my head told me to get you something. So Happy Mother's Day. I THINK

Like or Love Parker

Sophie laughed slightly to herself while she smiled a beaming smile. She smiled because even though it wasn't a card or jewelry or anything else that you usually got for mother's day, she knew that this was the best gift she ever received.

For if Parker stole anything that she stole Sophie's heart

Because it was rare if ever did Parker and her money part
