Hello, this story is about what happens when Silena goes to camp to get Clarisse to join the battle in the fifth book. This is my first story ever so comment and be honest.

The excitement of my trip to camp was when my Pegasus crash-landed into the strawberry fields.

I didn't notice we were going down until it happened. I was very busy taking a long, relaxing nap. I guess my Pegasus was taking a nap at the end too.

I am sad to say that I landed better than my Pegasus, Tyler, did. I saw him crash straight into one of the trees while I only got a mouth full of grass and a scraped knee.

Tyler has a broken wing and and a heart full of guilt for falling asleep in the air. I told him and told him that it's okay but he wouldn't listen. I left him in the infirmary and went off to look for the Ares cabin.

The first person I saw though was Argus. I asked him where everybody was and what they were doing.

He replied "Everybody but Clarisse is busy training at the arena. Clarisse is just laying around, doing nothing."

I thanked him and went on my way to Ares cabin to talk to Clarisse.

I passed a couple of Ares campers on my way. I heard them talking about Clarisse and I did a little bit of eaves-dropping.

They started talking about how they were cool with the Apollo cabin. They said it was just Clarisse being a big baby. Even her boyfriend, Chris, had gotten over it.

After that insightful knowledge, I passed Chris, who was going to Ares cabin to talk to Clarisse. We exchanged greetings and I waited outside while he talked to her. Soon, I heard yelling and Chris burst out the door, fuming. I figured I should wait a little

while but before I knew what was happening Clarisse opened the door, looked at me, and slammed the door.

I caught the door and went inside to a most surprising sight. I walked in and saw tissues thrown everywhere and a teary Clarisse on her bed.

I asked her "Are you okay? Did you and Chris get into a fight."

She replied " No, I'm fine. It's just that my whole cabin is mad at me for staying behind and not helping out at Olympus."

" You could change that. You know it's not to late to help out and fight."

" No." She replies stubbornly " I will not give in to Michael Yew and the rest of the Apollo cabin"

" Why not." I asked her " It's just a stupid chariot. You have other chariots that you can use."

Clarisse looked at me like I just stabbed her in the back and replied " It's not about the chariot, it's about our dignity."

" But please, we need you. With the Ares cabin, we might actually have a chance at defending Olympus."

" I don't care." And with that, she walked away, not looking back.

" Ugh, what a stubborn girl." I said to myself. And to think that she would listen to me!

I walked away, not realizing it was toward the arena. When I passed the arena, a couple of Ares campers stopped me.

" We heard that you talked to Clarisse and we want to know how it went." They said.

An idea popped into my head " She said that she now saw through her reasons and says to get ready to go to Manhattan." I lied.

I walked away and got dressed in full battle gear for the next time they saw me, I would be in the midst of tricking them.

I returned a hour later and they fell for my ploy. They thought that I was Clarisse and I led them away from camp before Clarisse noticed.

Now for all of you out there that have read the series, Silena flies into camp and gets killed by the drakon. If you haven't read the series yet oh well, too bad. Now remember to comment on it honestly. Thanks.
