This was an idea that had popped into my head in the middle of nowhere, but please read and review and tell me what ya think!
New York City 1943
Logan was running. Running as fast as her legs could carry her. Her Bag was slapping against her back, and a leather-bound book clutched in her hand. She didn't dare stop and turn around, to even see if those monsters were still chasing after her. By the time she did stop though, it was dark, and she was able to seek shelter in a café in Long Island.
She ordered water and food, and sat down catching her breath and coming to realize what was actually happening.
All the stories are true she thought all those years of bedtime stories were actual adventures her parents had. The Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels all of them were real, real and deadly and out to kill her.
Her parents were killed by those things and now they were going to get her. So if all these creatures were real, where was the hero of the stories? The Doctor. A man who thought bowties were cool, and could open any door with his sonic screwdriver.
Logan had almost begun to relax in the small café when she heard the robotic stomping of the Cybermen. Leaving money on the table she grabbed her things and bolted. She had to find the Doctor. That was her mother's last words to her: Find the Doctor, he'll help you. So now here she was in Long Island, miles from home and not a single clue of where she had to go.
She needed to find shelter, a place where she could actually rest for more than an hour. She hadn't had proper rest in two days and had been running on pure adrenaline since they found her. It was like there was a tracker on her so every time she thought she had out run a Dalek, Boom! An Angel statue. It was like every alien her parents had ever faced with the Doctor were after her.
Her lungs burned and every muscle in her body was in agony, but she still pushed on. After a point where she had lost track of time, Logan was ready to quit. Just stop and end this ongoing chase. That was until she saw the blue box. According to her mom it was called a TARDIS, a machine that was bigger on the inside and could go anywhere in time and space. Crazy, yes, but it was her only option.
She ran to the doors and tried pulling them open, but when that proved unsuccessful she started banging on the doors, hoping someone would hear her inside. The door indeed swung open and there he was the Doctor. Just like her parents always told her. Extremely floppy hair, tweed jacket and the famous bowtie around his neck.
"Who are you?" He asked
"Pond." Was all she was able to wheeze out before collapsing on the concrete.
