Face of the Moon
They couldn't imagine a world in which
there was no source of light:
no sun to burn with heat,
no moon to reflect its smile
upon the world
And yet the moon was struck again
and again, struggling to hold on,
to keep that smile shining through
And so they made their choice
to help protect that moon.
