Stupid commercials gave me stupid ideas so here is a stupid idea in story form.
I have no idea why I wrote this slightly silly really bad story. But I figure if it makes anyone else laugh even a little then its worth publishing. And if nobody reads or reviews nobody lost anything except a tiny piece of storage on a server somewhere.
Hope you enjoy!
Oh and I own nothing I make no money I just like sharing Kripke's toys from his box.
A flutter of wings was the only warning Dean had. "Dean, why is Samuel proposing violence against time pieces?"
Dean jumped a little at the surprise of Cass popping in unexpectedly again. "What are you talking about Cass?
"Samuel stated that in certain instances you must 'beat the clock' I was merely curious as to the benefits breaking a time piece. I know of no spells or charms involving broken clocks. I fail to see why he would need to be violent against one." Dean glanced up at the angel from his seat at the table in the motel room he and Sam were currently staying in. The angels head was cocked to the side the same way it was everytime something confused the angel.
"Its just a saying Cass, like the time we said it was raining cats and dogs and you said you couldn't see any animals falling from the sky." Dean said as he remembered the near flooding they experienced that time in Kentucky.
"I still do not understand what the statement means"
"Its just a way to say you have to do something quick Cass its like saying ASAP or something like that."
"ASAP?" If possible the angels head tilted even further to the side, Dean swore if he turned it any further it would be upside down and he would start looking like an owl.
"Never mind just know it means something has to get done quick and you'll be good"
"I think I understand now Dean. So when you told Sam to make it quick in the shower he needs to beat the clock?" Dean shook his head at the inability to make the angel understand human language and idioms.
"Not exactly Cass, never mind, don't worry about it."
Stupid commercials and the stupid saying in them. A commercial said beat the clock and I could just picture Cass being confused and asking Dean about why the saying is what the saying is.
And back in the box the toys go till next time.
