This is my review on iDate Sam and Freddie because I just watched it like… Three minutes ago.
Personally, I like it. It was realistic for Sam and Freddie to argue about every little thing. Since they're going out, you can't blame them for feeling differently about each other's characteristics.
Back when they were friends, they could throw insults at each other and just be cool with it because they're friends and that's how they show their friendship. But when you start dating, you can't throw those insults around anymore. It's bad principle to be insulting your girlfriend or boyfriend.
Freddie said the things to Sam because he was honest so he could improve herself a little. That doesn't mean that he doesn't love her for who she is. It just means that Sam could improve her habits a bit.
As for Sam picking on Freddie, if you guys have noticed… She never really had a relationship with someone that she "hated".
Carly's was a little obnoxious, but right. They do need to learn to fix their own problems, but that didn't give her the right to say that if they can't fix their own problems, then they shouldn't be dating at all.
Who is she to say that to Sam and Freddie? She never went out with a guy that she "hated" and was her best friend. iSaved Your Life doesn't count. She only went out with Freddie because she was thankful for what he did, not because she loved him for him.
Sam and Freddie's date made me crave lasagna.
