Andromache eyed the horse, then she eyed her husband. The horse had thrown her three times already and she wasn't ready to try again.

"Andromache, he really is a calm horse. I do not know why he keeps bucking." Hector said, stroking the horse and trying to calm it.

"He seems to be possessed and I will not ride him again!" Andromache exclaimed, moving away from the horse slowly.

"He is not, just a little temperamental today. If he throws you again I will do anything you want me to."

"Is that a promise?" Hector nodded.

Andromache mounted the horse again. Andromache nudged the horse's side and it began to walk.

"See, he's not so bad," Hector called, holding a rope that was attached to the horse tightly.

"Now he's not. Remember your promise Hector!" She screamed as the horse reared again. She hit the ground with a thud and rolled out of the horse's path. Hector pulled on the rope, trying to get the horse under control. After a few minutes and a lot of calming words, the horse was under control again. Hector looked him over once again, trying to see if there was anything he missed the first time he groomed the horse. He found what he was looking for, a small bite on horse's leg.

"Andromache, I'm sorry you were thrown again. But it wasn't the horse's fault nor was it yours. The horse has a bit on its leg, no one should be riding him." Hector offered apologetically.

"Still, that does not let you out of your promise." Andromache said, using the hand Hector offered to help her up. "So tomorrow we shall go to the market together." She knew that there were many other things she could make Hector do, but Andromache choose the one that would be the least harmful to both of them.
