Post session 26.
Spike Spiegal had been dreaming. The kind of lucid dreaming where you can do anything because you know you're dreaming. Spike could do anything. He had become fluid with his dreams. He had performed impossible tasks, flown amongnst the stars, beautifull women had loved him and he had died a million deaths and always walked again.
But somehow this time as the white light grew brighter and began to reviel the scene in wich he was now, he knew he was awake. The dream was over.
Spike looked around as best he could. Everything was blurry and his left eye hurt. So did the rest of him.
"A hospital?" He thought. He had been in enough hospitals to know them by smell. This was a hospital but not one he had been in before. He tried to move his body but his muscles were too weak.
"AAAhhh.'He groned.
Sudenely Spike heard vioces in the Just outside the room.
"Get the Doctor... yes now GO!"
There was scuffling and soon he heard three sets of footsteps syncirnized coming down the hall and then the door creeking. Spike could make out general shapes and colors. He saw three men walk in to the room and aproach the bed. A dark man in a long wite coat spoke first. Spike assumed him to be a doctor.
"How are you Mr. Spiegal? Can you understand me?"
"AAAAAAAAAUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHH" Responded Spike. That was as best as his tounge would allow him.
"That's alright Mr. Spiegal. We're just glad to see you finally awake!" Said the doctor with a friendly tone.
The two men that had entered with the doctor seemed familiar. The one on the left with the doctor was young but his dark grey-blue eyes were old. He had long striat hair wich was pionted at the ends like swords. And it framed a long strait face with sharp featuers. His eyes were thin like Spikes and his lips were tight. "And the color of his hair..." Spike thought "Jet Black" it seemed so familair. The young man seemed to be smiling through pursed lips.
The room was so bright and ther were so many machines! "What the hell happened to me?!" thought Spike.
He was able to focus his better eye, his REAL eye, on the man to the right. He was in his early 50's mabey. Spike recognized him right away. He was from the Syndicate. Wo Wei Fung. Also knows as Dark Jade. He used to send Spike on missons as a young member of the Red Dragon Syndicate.
"HE"S still alive?" Spike thouhgt.
The three men began to talk amoungst themselves.
"Is he going to fully recover?" Asked the young man
"It appears so" Said the doctor.
"How much will he remember?" asked Dark Jade with a serious tone.
" I don't really know yet" Replied the doctor.
"Maybe almost everything...or nothing at all." The older man frowned. Then spoke again.
"What about the chip?" He asked
"Yes that should take care of all your concerns..."
As the doctor spoke Spike faught to stay concious but his drowsiness won out and he drifted into a dreamless sleep.
