Summary/Author Notes: This oneshot takes place in the school,the day Iggy loses his eyesight.
A loud screech came over the loud-speaker.I do mean LOUD speaker. Whitecoats walked down the rows of cages delivering us breakfast. Trust me,ME a three-year-old could cook better than them.
A whitecoat stopped at my cage. What were they going to do to me?The dark-haired boy,who I call Fang,told me what it was like outside the cages ,nothing but needles,horrible scents,and nasty-tasting medicine.
The whitecoat quickly unlocked my cage and threw me into cage on somesort of cart and wheeled me off.I didn't want to be away from Fang and the girl called Max. The cart sqeaked ever-so-often. I was wheeled down a endless,dim hallway. I saw a little glimmer of light. A window! Suddenly a chimpanzee ran by with a ugly wolf-thing chasing it. A terrible cry rang out,somehow I knew it was dead.
We entered a door had a strange drawing on it that looked like this:OPERATIONS. I was thrown onto a cold steel arms and legs were strapped down. A rag was stuffed in my mouth. A very bright light was turned on. I squinted but some machine was put on my head that made it impossible to close my eyes.
A horrible scent filled the air. I felt something that pierced my skin. I felt a tingling sensastion move into my arm it soon became numb. I felt dizzy. I don't remember what happened next.
*Who knows how much later*
I felt a cold surface underneath me. I heard the familiar squeking of a transportation cart. The squeaking was louder this time. My head aked and I was still dizzy.I thought about opening my eyes but I remembered the horrible chimp incident so I kept them closed. I smelled a funky scent,a more potent version of the scent that came with the numbness.
A CLICK! sound was heard.A whitecoat voice said,''Subject 3 still refuses to open his eyes''Subject 3,I hated that name. Fang and Max called me Iggy.''Subject 3 is going back into containment. Tests will be done to find out if surgery was sucessful.''Surgery?
I was thrown back into my cage.I opened my eyes to see Max and Fang. But I only saw darkness. I can't believe it. I used to know where I was,where I was going,and who was going with me. Now I am lost forever.
