Note: The DSCG (Dominion of Socialist and Communist Governments) and DOL (different name, but the same faction) are the same faction against the UNCG (United Nations of Combined Governments, the good guys)

On the way to the Angel on the Moon's construction site, code-name Tanis, Lieutenant Commander Sosuke sits on the pilot seat, controlling his personal shuttle while in slipstream (which is a type of hyperspace the UNCG and DOL use). Then, a call comes in from Adam Jensen (Deus Ex: Human Revolution), who is on the bridge of the Qajour-class assault carrier Angel on the Moon. He taps 'answer' on the 'calling hologram'.
"What is it, Jensen?" Sosuke questioned him.
"I'm already on board the Angel on the Moon. The Animus Operating System code-name 'Omega' has been installed into the Animus 3.1 Virtual Memory Realty, which is using state-of-the-art Nvidia hardware."
"What's the status of the ship?"
"The 'Angel' has been finalized and is good to go as soon as you get here." Then, alarms go off.
"Incoming DSCG strike force via slipstream." the Animus A.I. said.
"Dammit. Sosuke, get to one of the shuttle docking stations and use one of those teleporters. I'm contacting perimeter station Irrational to send out those programmable interceptors and bombers." Jensen ends the call.
"Well, crap."
Sosuke's shuttle exits slipstream near a shuttle docking station. But, the DOL strike force exits slipstream behind his shuttle. An DOL interceptor squad attacks the shuttle, causing it crash land into one of the hangers of the docking station, knocking Sosuke out.
"S...ke! Sosuke! Get up!" Sosuke's personal A.I. shouted. Sosuke regains consciousness.
"What's going on?"
The DOL strike force then open fires on all stations, including the docking station Sosuke is in. Sosuke attempts to eject his A.I.'s Crystalgram A.I card from the A.I. hologram display, but it's jammed into the card slot. He gives up yanking out the card, grabs his M-8 Avenger from under the pilot's seat, and exits his shuttle, running to the closest teleporter, teleporting him straight to the Angel's bridge.
Interceptors and bombers from Irrational station attacks the strike force, only to be outnumbered by DOL Raptors. The rest of the fleet focuses on destroying the Angel on the Moon, but what the DSCG doesn't know is that the Angel's reactor, the Qajour Reactor, is very powerful. However, if the ship is destroyed, so will the reactor, blowing up almost half to even the entire Nexus Galaxy.
Turrets on the stations nearby the Angel open fire on the strike force, buying the ship time to escape.
"Animus, bring the defensive weapons online." Jensen commanded.
"Unable to use weapons while docked."
"Dammit."
Sosuke appears next him. "We have to go, right now!" he said.
"Animus, undock and initiate slipstream to the Anno Sector."
"Why are we going there?" Sosuke said as the ship undocks.
"Since your A.I., which you probably left it in your shuttle, isn't made for this kind of combat situations, planning, precise executions, and so on."
"We're supposed to go to the Neptune Sector to pickup the rest of our crew."
"Initiating slipstream." the Animus A.I. said.
The Angel on the Moon enters slipstream, heading to the Anno Sector while the strike force destroys the Tanis site.
