Hello, it's me with a translation of a german fanfiction poem again. Please notice that I am no native speaker of the english language. If you have any suggestions of how I could improve this work, or if you want to give positive or negative feedback, feel free to review.

This belongs to act 1 scene V: What if Capulet could not stop Tybalt from confronting Romeo at the ball?

CAPULET

Why, how now, kinsman! Wherefore storm you so?

TYBALT

Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe;

A villain that is hither come in spite,

To scorn at our solemnity this night.

CAPULET

Young Romeo, is it?

TYBALT

'Tis he, that villain Romeo.

Turns, comes towards Romeo. Capulet follows.

CAPULET

In a low voice

Please wait, dear Tybalt, tell me can it be,

That causing pain is not why here is he?

For having fun, this night shall give a chance,

Maybe he did only come to dance.

TYBALT

To Capulet

He likes to dance, like me and you?

Not if he is a Montague!

To Romeo

Who have we here, are you a spy?

I tell you, no need to deny.

You are a Montague, I know,

You can now stop this useless show.

Draws his sword

ROMEO

Arms himself, too; they fight.

Can it be true, you really call

Me spy, but on a public ball?

For making plans it's not the time,

I swear, I won't commit a crime.

And no longer will you see me,

With my beloved, I want to flee.

I will ask for Rosaline's hand.

With her or alone, I'll leave this land.

Romeo reaches the door, exits.

JULIA

Standing at a window, watching Romeo

Can it be true what Tybalt says?

A Montague, here at this place?

And why must it be just him of all,

With who in love I deeply fall?

With shining eyes of midnight blue.

Could this eyes ever be untrue?

His smile, a gentle angle's wing,

More precious than a diamond ring.

Just because of his name he had to part,

But I love him with all my heart.

His image is burning in my mind,

True peace, I fear, I'll never find.

And how couragous of him, to go

To a ball celebrated by his family's foe.

But wait, my, thoughts! My mind, stay clear!

I need you now, I need you here!

I'd love to meet his eyes with mine,

But before the sun begins to shine

I shall intoduce to mum and dad

A special man who I've just met.

PARIS

Standing next to her

Now that the foe has gone away,

I hope to dance with you today.

And, please excuse my honesty,

To share with you eternity

JULIA

This very day, before I awoke,

I dreamed I've heard how goddess Fortuna spoke.

I knew that I would find a mate.

To be with you, this is my fate.

PARIS

Your parents hoped for our relation,

That you want it too is a sensation.

So, if you want to share my life,

Next week you can become my wife.

Exeunt

CHORUS

The time passed slowly, peace seemed true,

Till once the fights began anew

A life could end at any hour

When two rich households strive for power.

One Capulet, one Montague survived,

Of power they have both long been deprived.

They feel all alone, they are so sad,

Their hate and pride, they know today, was bad.
