Hey guys! So this is my first fanfiction and well, I have been thinking about it for a while and have finally had the guts to write one. So this is based on the book and movie 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. This is obviously an AU so here I go!

Chapter 1: The Party
"Just another party again?" Skye asked while sitting on the floor reading her favourite novel."Oh this is not just a party Skye! Mr Fitz, a wealthy, young bachelor is hosting a party. Everyone is invited!" Her mother, Melinda May, smiled as she claps her hands. "Jemma! Avery! Pepper!" Melinda called for her other young girls, one by one they entered the room with smiles on their faces, beaming with happiness.
"I hear that this Fitz has a wonderful personality!" the youngest, Pepper giggled. "I hear that he is so rich that he has bought not just one, but TWO mega houses with a pool and everything!" Avery, the second youngest, jumped. "Settle down you too! Anyways, your both too young to start thinking about men in that way." Jemma, the elder sister interrupted. "Oh Jemma, we will never be too young to think about guys in this manner." Pepper said as she and Avery danced around Jemma.
"Honestly, I have no reason to go to these parties. They are a waste of time for me" Skye finally got up and closed her book as she made her way to her sisters. "I mean who has time for dancing around until you get dizzy and eventually faint?" Skye asked "Oh Skye stop complaining and get your father!" May snapped as she picked out dresses for the girls.
"Yes your majesty." Skye bowed down and hurried along to her father's door. Skye had been to many so many parties that see had eventually lost count of them. Her mother was always looking for men who were suitable for her and Jemma. Skye would usually reject them because they were too rich, too smart or just plain disgusting and rude.
Eventually Skye knocked onto her father's door. "Dad? You there?" Suddenly the door opened with her father standing there looking tired, sleepy and well just tired. "What is it now?" he yawned as he started stretch. "Mum got us invited to a party, Again."
"Well, you better get ready honey." He answered as he stroked his daughters cheek. "COULSON! GET YOU ASS OVER HERE!" May shouted from the hallway. "I better as well" he rushed off to get dressed. "Thanks a lot!" Skye whispered to herself and climbed up the stairs to her room. Little did she know that tonight she might just meet the very man of her dreams.
Okay so the next chapter will include Ward as the famous Mr Darcy so expect some Skyeward fluffiness in upcoming chapters!
