Dante's P.O.V

It's been a 3 years scince Aphmau, Katleyn, Laurence, Garroth, Emmalyn, and Kenmur dissapered. Luckily Nicole is keeping me company. The first few day of Aphmau's diapeerence was pretty awkard, but now me and Nicole are cool with eah other. Me and Nicole decided to roam around old Phenoix Drop. We traced everywhere we use to go. The beach, Aphmau's house, and other places. I even told Nicole some awkard expierence's I had when I was in guard training. For instance, I once chopped off a girls hair with my sword.

"Haha, now how'd you even do that?" Nicole asked me.

"The teacher made us do boy vs girls. We had to fight the person the teacher assigned us to. I sliped and accidenly chopped her hair.," I explained to Nicole. Nicole giggled. Her giggle made me blush so I had to turn away. I din't want her to know I like her! We were walking along the shore and suddenly Nicole slipped.

"DANTE!" she screamed falling into a hole. Luckily I quickly grabbed her by her wrist.

"Don't worry I got'cha!" I said pulling her back up. I pulled Nicole making her fall on top of me. We stared at each other for a while. Suddenly we both relised we were on each other and blushed. Once we got up on our feet I told Nicole, " You sure fall a lot!" trying to not make it awkard.

"Yeah sure! Says the boy who 'slipped' and 'accidently' chopped off a girl's hair," Nicole stated.

"HEY! I did slip, and it was on accident!" I tried to defend myself.

"Ok, sure! I belive ya!" Nicole sarcasticlly said holding out her vowels. We both laughed, walked back to the guard tower to sleep in.

Nicole's P.O.V

2:30 A.M

I could not sleep! I tried EVERYTHING! I tried counting sheep, clearing my mind, crying to sleep! Actually, I din't try that one... (just yet that is.) I decided to take a midnight stroll. I grabbed my jacket, and put on my shoes. I walked to the door and saw Dante asleep. It made my guts twist and turn in love. I sighed. When will he know? I thought in my mind. I walked out the door, and closed it. I walked to Aphmau's home. Once again I sighed. 3 years without Aphmau! I still couldn't beliva that Aphmau just disapeered into thin air! That's not like her to do! I walked to the desserted, broken, ruins of Pheonix Drop. I stared at Kawaii~Chans ruined home. I shook my head trying to lose all memories of the past. But everytime I walked in the ruins of Pheonix Drop memories of the war, Zane, and everything rushed back at me at once.

"Augh," I groaned feeling as if I was living those memories again. I finally got to the entance of Phenoix Drop. I layed back on the wall of the entance. I rested my head, and felt as if Irene was protecing me. I quickly fell asleep there.

10:28 A.M

I woke up to Dante shaking me awake.

"NICOLE! You'er awake! I was so worried about you! I thoguht you..." Dante's voice wore off, "Never mind that! Don't ever leave without my warning! Please!" I was suprised that Dante cared, but I promised him. He hugged me so hard my eyes alomst popped out! Dante helped me up, and we walked back to the guard tower. As I was walking with Dante back to the guard tower I didn't feel those memories. Irene may be protecing me, but Dante is also. I stopped dead in the tracks.

"Nicole? Are you alright?" Dante asked me. I don't know why I stopped.

"Dante," I said trying to make up an excus. "Uh... Never mind," I told him. Dante was still facing me in confusion. I started to walk, but I tripped and fell. At that moment our lips touched. It was my first kiss, and I hope it was his too. I didn't pull away nor did Dante. I fixed myself and we just started to kiss for the longest time. BEST MOMENT EVER!
