Conner was at the center of the city, where so many people crowded around, making rude remarks and being jerks in general. He didn't mind. He might have been raised as a Sourthern boy with Southern hospitality, but he had plenty of experianc dealing with crude jerks from the Ares cabin. That aside, he loved New York. Everything was so close together, you couldn't miss a thing—or, on the other hand, you could miss everything, including stealing someone's wallet. He smiled at the thought of that, but his thoughts of thevory were cut short when he saw his brother, Travis crossing the street.
This is going to be an awesome prank, he thought. Travis might be a year older than himself, but they looked so much alike it didn't matter. The plan will still work perfectly if our timing is in sync.Which, with as much they'd had practice over the years with syncranizing, that would not be a problem.
He spotted a pretty girl from the crowd. She had long straight brown hair with dark drown eyes, a deep, exotic tan, and was tall. She had headphones in and was walking along the sidewalk. She wore a dark red t-shirt and dark skinny jeans with sandals. She was the perfect target.
He walked up to the unsuspecting girl and smiled. "My darling, here you are! We may have just met, but I can feel the cosmic connection of our undying, everlasting love for each other. May our love thrive and prosper! Make it known to all," he yelled, looking around the faces of dowtown Manhattan. "That I love this girl and if our love does not work out in the end of some twisted tale, may I travel back in time and slap myself now!"
That was when Travis came up from behind the victim and slapped his brother as hard as he could. "YOU FOOL!" He yelled, before disapearing into a nearby allyway.
The girl looked shocked and horried at the inncedent that played before her. Then, realizing it was all just a trick, she slapped Connor twice as hard as Travis, yelling, "Pervert!" before she stalked away, unhappy.
