They came to an agreement.

"I will visit you before I sleep at dawn." The slender one promised, soft grey eyes hidden beneath a harsh scowl. As if she were troubled by the visits, as if she weren't the one to suggest them.

The sturdy woman grinned viciously. "And I will pay my respects before I drift away at sunset." She held out an open hand and the slender woman gripped it. A few moments and their eyes met, silver and gold eclipsing one another.

The slender woman was the first to break the grip and she darted through the window without goodbye, leaping across rooftops and into the moon above. She was always one for a flashy exit.

Yawning, the sturdy woman scrubbed her eyes with closed fists and began to peel away armor, walking unsteadily to a soft bed where dreams awaited. She'd had a long day, more losses than victories - as tended to happen with free weeks - and bed was a wanted luxury despite the exciting turnabout of the past few minutes.

"I forgot one thing." A gently straining voice at her window interrupted her journey, she turned and frowned.

"What is it? I'm tired."

Dancing across the floor as though she walked on the moons beams and not the wooden planks, which very well she might have been, the slender woman faced up to the sturdy one.

"This-" a gentle caress, nothing more than a quick brush of the lips, and she streamed away again.

Her mind hazy with sleep, it took Leona a few moments to realize that her lips were tingling and slightly pursed.

She reached up and touched them, wondering at the cool that remained. In the distance, like a witch of fairytales, she heard a peal of laughter.

Flushing bright red, Leona jerked her hand back down and hurriedly undressed, shoving her gear in a pile and burrowing into her sheets.

I'll see you at dawn. Don't you forget. She mumbled into her pillow grinning.
