The Alley
Through the Alley we may go.
To our secret place that they do not know.
Let us be, let us be.
To that secret place we may go.
Through the gate, hide the key.
Just you and me.
See and smell the wild flowers, here no one may tame them.
wild and free, just you and me.
The birds sing a lullaby.
For just you and I.
The sun shines so bright, the clouds are so white.
We rest under mother Willoe and Father Oak.
I smell the Lilac and Roses in the air.
The cool breeze flies through our hair.
Walking in our stream barefoot.
Mother Earth is kind to us here.
The leaves dance with the wind.
Butterflies, of all kinds, seem to be everywhere.
Hold me in your arms tight and never let go.
What will happen tomorrow?
I dare not know.
Just hold me tight, hold me tight and never let me go.
Through the Alley we may go . . .
