A Jim and Suzuka dribble.
Jim smiled as he started waking up. 'Mom...' Suzuka looked down to her small bed-mate. 'I wonder how long he's going to keep doing this.' Jim hugged her and mumbled.
"Mom..." She didn't know why but she felt warm.
"Jim...Jim, time to get up..." She slowly shook him awake as he yawned.
"I'm sorry, its just that...never-mind..." He got out of her bed still in his t-shirt and shorts.
"Its ok, now we both have to get ready." She smiled as he left her quarters.
'I shouldn't be surprised this happened. But it still gives me a...good feeling.' She got ready in her usual fashion. 'Should I start training him in my families ways?' She was doing her kata's in one of the cargo holds. 'He does seem to think...or rather...attached himself as my son...' That brought a warm feeling again as well as a smile.
"It is decided."

Gene twitched at the controls. 'Asshole...planting a bomb there just to rob the place.' He let loose the grappler arms and busted into the space station, the emergency protocols activating immediately effectively sealing the ship to the station.
The lead crook was almost to the escape pod when he felt something sharp at his throat.
"I should kill you for trying to harm my son, feel lucky there is no twilight in space." Using the back of the blade she knocked him out. 'Did I just...?'
"Son?" Gene looked confused.
"Yes...I was referring to Jim." She wrapped up her sword again.
"Ok, I'm not going to ask." Gene had his hands in the air.
"The authorities are on their way!" Aisha walked in with the rest of the crooks tied up.
"The bounty on these guys was five thousand Wong. Plus the two thousand for the tugboat job, that's seven thousand Wong. But with space port fee's, maintenance for the Outlaw Star, and basic needs...spendable profit is zero." Jim sounded depressed over the com line.
"So all we did was..." Gene looked a mixture of angry and confused.
"...keep the creditors at bay for a week, maybe two." Jim sounded dejected.
"Gene, an Officer Smith is at the airlock for the station." The AI known as Gilliam let his captain know.
"Alright, let him into the station." Gene sounded annoyed.
Suzuka was nowhere to be found.

Jim was on the bridge of the Outlaw Star when he felt someone hug him from behind.
"If you want to learn from me, that's up to you." Suzuka just held him in a motherly fashion.
"Will you still try to kill Gene?" He kept the fear out of his voice.
"I vow not to kill him." She looked down to her son.
"Thanks...mom..." The stress taking its toll on him, he just passed out fully asleep.
"Children..."
