...

I was standing in the middle of a dark forest. My bare feet came in contact with the wet grass. My raven black hair hung in long curls down my back and the white nightgown stood out from my tan skin.

"Reyna…" I gasped in shock.

"H-hello? Is anyone there?" I said in a shaky breath.

"Reyna….you are nothing….nothing but a distraction…."whispered a woman's voice. I felt tears trail down my face.

"Who are you? Show yourself!" but no one appeared.

"Nothing…Reyna….Nothing…."

I woke up gasping. 'Why the hell do I always have this dream? And who the hell is Reyna?' I thought to myself.

I have been having those dreams ever since I could remember. It's all so strange to me. Its like this dream is trying to tell me something. 'Oh well.' Rolling out of bed, I stretched and walked over to my closet. I decided on a simple black pencil skirt, a purple button down shirt and my black pumps. 'Now what to do with my hair?' I asked myself while looking in the mirror. After a few minutes I decided on a low side ponytail. Once I was satisfied with my appearance, I grabbed my keys and purse and went out the door.

I lived in Storybrooke for as long as I can remember. It was a quiet little town with people who knew each other since like forever. Nothing much ever happens around here. That was until Emma Swan, our new sheriff, came to town. Now everything isn't so quiet.

I walked into Granny's diner, and sat at a booth. All of a sudden a pair of hands covered my eyes. I smile knowing exactly who it is.

"Ruby, I know it's you." I said with a smirk.

"Aw! C'mon Mai! How did you know it was me?" said my best friend Ruby.

"Honey, we're best friends and I've practically known you since like forever. I think I know when it's you." She huffed and sat down across from me.

"Won't granny be mad seeing you sitting down instead of working?" I asked her. She shook her head and said, "Nah! She won't even-"

"RUBY! Don't think that I don't see you sitting there! Get your butt outta that booth and start placing these orders!" Granny said narrowing her eyes at Ruby. She got out of the booth and walked towards the kitchen. She sighed and turned towards me.

"Good morning dear. Should I get you the usual?" I smiled at her and said, "Yes, please." She wrote down the order and headed towards the kitchen. The little bell of the door went off and in entered my best friend ever!

"Mary Margaret! Over here." I said. She took off her coat and scarf and set it on the hook.

"Hey, Mai. How are you?" she asked as she sat across from me.

"I'm fine. How's Emma doing?"

"She's fine. She came back this morning."

"And? What happened?" I asked curious to know of my friend. Mary Margaret looked around before whispering, "She tried to run away with Henry."

"What?"

"Don't worry. I took care of it. I told her that living life on the run wasn't the best idea and to just think about Henry's well-being."

"Good. I'm just glad Regina didn't find out. Woman would have a freaking fit!" we laughed. At that moment, Granny brought my breakfast and also brought out Mary Margaret's.

"I had the dream again." I stated simply. Mary Margaret looked up from her food and said, "Oh Mai."

"I know and it's always the same. Its me in the forest, but the woman's voice is always calling out 'Reyna'. That's the part I don't understand."

"Reyna? That was Snow White's best friend, according to Henry. It's no wonder we're such good friends." We laughed. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 7:30.

"Shoot! I gotta go Mar. You know how Regina will get if I'm late." I gave Mary Margaret a hug, left money for breakfast and bolted out the door.
