Are We There Yet?
"Jack, are we there yet?" moaned Daniel from the back of the van. "I'm
getting hungrey!"
Jack rolled his eyes. This was going to be a very long journey. The
next SGC mission wasn't for a long time yet. (Daniel had managed to blow a
fuse on the Stargate- long story). So, Jack invited Sam, Daniel and Teal'c to
come and go camping with him in the forest. Big mistake.
"I also agree with Dr Jackson" said the Jaffa. "I must stop for
food or, indeed, I may die."
"I'm going to get so tired, that I'm going to die of that" claimed
Daniel, almost proudly. "That's what I'm going to die of. I'm not going to
die of hunger, or the heat, or anything like that. I'm going to die of
sleepinees, so there!" Daniel folded his arms proudly. Jack was busy thinking
about where Daniel should go to get his head examined.
"Dr Jackson," Teal'c started. "If you are that tired, may I suggest
you try going to sleep?"
"Oh no!" cried Sam from under her balnket. Sam crawled out. "Don't let
him fall asleep whatever you do! I'm trying to sleep and Daniel snores!" Sam
went back under her blanket. Daniel looked hurt.
Jack was now really beginning to regret bringing them along. They
always found something to complain about. All Jack really wanted to do was
have a nice weekend out in the forest. Go off on a little adventuer or
something like that, you know. But, no, he had to bring THEM along with him.
Then, Jack noticed something. Nobody had spoken for about the last
five minutes or so. This was very weird for SG-1, who most of the time had
problems with keeping their mouths shut. Was it too good to be true?
"Jack!" complained Daniel. It was too good to be true. "I have to go
to the toilet! We never get to go while we're back at the SGC!"
"Oh great! Here he goes again. He always has something to complain
about, doesn't he?" muttered Jack.
"I, also, need to use the toilet, O'Neill." said Teal'c. "I need..."
"Oh, just shut it, you two!" yelled Sam. She had crawled out from
under her blanket. Her eyes were a red colour.
Uh-oh. Looks like trouble. Jack pulled the van in at a nearby service
station to avoid a crash. Who knew what would happen when this lot were
about?
"Sam! It isn't fair!" Daniel started!
"Major Carter, both me and Dr. Jackson require medical attention!"
"How do you think I feel then?"
"But Sam....."
"You guys..."
"This is also very unfair to me and Dr. Jackson."
"Unfair? I'll give you unfair!"
"Ahhh! Sam, that's mean!"
"That isn't very nice!"
"Oh, will you two stop being so childish?"
Jack had enough. He slammed his hand down on the car horn making
everybody jump.
"I've had just about enough of this!"yelled Jack. "I've had to put
up with the whole lot of you for what seems to be forever. It is really
unfair to me, if anybody. Now, we are at a service station. Teal'c, go and
get something to eat. Daniel, go to the toilet, now! And, Sam, stop insulting
children!"
After this, the rest of the journey was ok. So was camping. Daniel
found some intresting rocks, which kept him happy. Also, the journey on the
way back was also better.... until
