JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Flame Advent: Issue 1:Joshua Joestar

Joshua Joestar. A boy who had lived in poverty for most of his life. His parents died when he was seven, and then, on his twelfth birthday, Hidetaka Arui, a businessman, drove by the street where he typically did his begging. He parked in a nearby parking lot as to not disturb traffic. He walked up and sat next to the boy. "Who the hell are you?!"

Joshua asked as he pulled a glass shard out of his pocket. "Calm down, boy. I'm not here to hurt you. I simply wanted to ask you something. Now, I can't do that unless you put the glass away. Now, please, put it away,"

Hidetaka asked. His kind aura apparently reached the boy, as he put the glass away. Normally, Joshua would've slit his throat. However, there was something about this man. "W-what is it?" Joshua asked. "Obviously living on the street isn't the most desirable situation. Would you like to come home with me? My son is about the same age as you. I feel like you might get along,:

Hidetaka answered. "You-you're serious?" Joshua replied, tears filling his eyes. He hugged Hidetaka with a loving feeling. This was the first time in a while that Joshua had felt loved. Hidetaka picked the child up and brought him to the car. He placed him in the back seat, put the seatbelt on him, and drove home. He entered his home with the child and introduced him to Yono, his son, whom Joshua was excited to meet. However, Yono felt very differently. "FATHER? You actually brought home the gutter child?!"

Yono exclaimed as he threw his book aside and stood in front of Joshua. "M-my name is Joshua. Nice to meet you,"

Joshua said as he held out his hand nervously. Yono twisted the held out hands he got in Joshua's face. "I do not shake the hands of alley filth!"

Yono told Joshua sternly. "Yono! That is no way to treat our new family member!"

Hidetaka exclaimed. :New FAMILY MEMBER?! Has the world gone MAD?! First mom dies, now we invite this disgusting waste of air into our home!"

Yono shouted as he grabbed his book and ran upstairs to his room. Joshua began crying and curled up in a corner. "Joshua!"

Hidetaka ran over to the child. "Shh. Shhh. It's okay. His mother recently passed away and he's just a bit volatile. He's always held himself in higher regard than the rest of us,"

He picked Joshua up and took him to the spare bedroom. He put him on the bed and let him sleep for the night.
