I never loved you
I never searched for you
I never blushed when your eyes met mine
I never gave you flowers
and for your smile I was never delight
My hands weren't afraid to touch you
My lips never hungered yours
My mind was never clouded
My soul never belonged to you
I never knew adoration
I never recited your name
I never asked you to love me
and I was never betrayed
For you I did not hate
nor did my life ever change
For you I never cried
and my heart didn't break
For you...
For you I felt nothing
I never loved you

Author's note: "denial isn't just a river in Egypt" is it? This originally was planned as a Neji to Hinata short poem, you know... cuz they are cousins... they can't love each other and stuff and I just love them together. But I guess this poem(if I dare to call it one) can be from anyone to anyone really, hope you enjoyed it!
