2 days after Dorothy was born Penny was home and settling down to motherhood.

Her and Sheldon had managed to put the kiss behind them as a spur of the moment thing, that should never be spoke of again.

It seemed Sheldon and her had been getting along a lot better since the baby was born.

He came round to her apartment every day to see how things with Penny and Dorothy were.

They had begun to bond but neither of them could see it.

'Hey guys' Leonard said to Howard, Raj and Bernadette when Sheldon was at Penny's.

'Yeah' Howard said taking a bite out of his Thai food.

'Do you think Sheldon and Penny have been seeing a lot more of each other lately?'

'How do you mean?' Raj said taking a sip of his beer.

'Well Sheldon eats dinner with her and Dorothy almost every night and he's always talking about them'.

'I think its sweet their getting along so well' Bernadette said smiling.

'Yeah and he has been a lot less annoy…' Howard said before he was cut off by one of Bernadette's deathly stares.

'Mm I suppose you're right' Leonard said tucking into his food.

Leonard and Penny had been broke up for nearly a year now and Leonard was sure it was the last time.

They had both realised they weren't in love with each other and decided to break up, it was a quick and painless break up but Leonard still hated the idea of that jerk Kurt fathering her baby.

Back at Penny's apartment Sheldon was sat by Dorothy's crib gently singing soft kitty to her as she fell asleep.

'I thought that was your sick song' Penny said as she put her and Sheldon's dinner on the table.

'Only for me…It's an all year round song for Dorothy' He said heading back to the table.

'Ahh…sweet' Penny said smiling.

After dinner Penny and Sheldon were talking, they liked there chats…it gave them both an excuse to look into each other's eyes and learn about each other.

'Sheldon?' Penny said taking a deep breath and looking into her room at the crib.

'Yes Penny'

'Do you remember…?' She began before Sheldon cut her off.

'Yes…I remember everything'

'Okay then…that night in Vegas when Amy was a little drunk and she dared us to drink those peppermint schnapps'

'I do recall yes'

'Well you know when we…urm went back to the hotel room early because you were feeling a little sick'

'Oh. That night'.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

'Yeah…' Penny yelled for a moment before Sheldon nudged her realising Dorothy was asleep in the next room.

'Who is it?' She whispered.

'It's us Bernadette and Howard' Howard whispered back.

'Oh come in' Penny said relieved she could get herself away from this situation.

'I've just come to say good night to Dorothy' Bernadette said coming into the apartment.

'Nighty nighty my little Dorothy' Howard said in a silly voice making Bernadette and Penny giggle.

'Oh Urhh….Night' Howard said looking embarrassed as he walked out of the apartment.

'Good night sweetie' Bernadette said quietly as she rubbed Dorothy's hand slightly.

As they both left Sheldon and Penny were together on the couch in silence.

'I think…I should be going its late' Sheldon said standing up.

'Oh okay I'll catch you tomorrow and talk to you'.

'Sure I'll go and say goodnight to Dorothy'.

As Sheldon edged towards Dorothy's door Penny took a deep breath…

'She's yours'….
