Prompt from Texts From Last Night:

(812): gpnpr hd vmdd nm the ggrl whm was mn my lar

(219): I need you to use more vowels

Rachel Berry understands the importance of planning.

For as long as she can remember, Friday evenings have been deemed as "Rachel Time". The passing years have allowed her to meticulously craft the perfect itinerary so as to maximize her precious free time. Structure is key to productivity, which is why a strict schedule must dictate the order of events for the night. Homework is to be completed immediately after dinner, followed by several hours of surfing the Internet for new songs to present to Mr. Schue on Monday as possible performance pieces. A break for some light vocal exercises followed by catching up on the previous week's DVR'd episode of "Gossip Girl". Finally, some light reading is followed by bedtime at a reasonable hour.

Rachel is just heading downstairs to prepare a light snack before catching up on the exploits of Blair and Chuck when her cell phone buzzed from it's place on her desk. Frowning, she crosses her room to check the message even though she already had an idea of who it will be from. In addition to her fathers, all of the Glee kids were well aware of Rachel's Friday night schedule and certainly knew better than to bother her during this time. Noah, however, had deemed her routine "Really damn boring" and typically found great amusement in interrupting.

PuckMe69: gpnpr hd vmdd nm the ggrl whm was mn my lar

RBerry*: You know that I'm very busy right now. If you intend to interrupt my evening, I will need you to use more vowels.

When there is no response, Rachel continues on to prepare a plate of veggies and dip. Upon returning to her bedroom, the cell phone is blinking with the notification of a new message.

PuckMe69: #(*%&(^%&*% &_!

RBerry*: Those are punctuation marks and symbols, Noah. Vowels are "A,E,I,O and U". Their usage is necessary in order for the texter to accurately convey a coherent message to the textee.

Tucking the phone into the pocket of her hoodie, Rachel has barely settled into her bed when the phone chirps again repeatedly.

PuckMe69: B, it's Santana. Please come get Puckerman out of my house. Am 2 drunk to take care of him.

PuckMe69: Might want 2 bring towel. Ur BF and Chang just decided 2 push lawnmwr in pool. Not leaving until it's out.

Mentally surpressing a groan, she slides her feet into sandals and grabs her keys. The bedside clock reads 11:00 PM. Pick up drunk boyfriend was not scheduled until midnight. This unnecessary interruption is going to severely affect her schedule for the rest of the weekend. Mentally going over the upcoming events of the weekend, Rachel knows that in order to accomplish all her planned goals, she is going to need to shorten their planned date time on Saturday night.

Noah will undoubtedly be angry at first, but she'll probably let him make it up to her. Because when your boyfriend is as lovely as he is, there's always time. She already has it penciled in on the color-coded calendar above her desk. Right after Review importance of weekend schedule with Noah.
