The doctor knocked on the blue door, hoping they were in this time. He heard footsteps and then the door unlocked and it opened. Amy was standing there. "Doctor, hi." She said sounding a bit nervous. "Amelia Pond. I did come before but you were out. Is Rory out? The cars gone." He said. Still smiling. She pulled him into a hug. "Umm, that's something that kinda happened." Amy said smiling, trying to hold back the tears. "Why, what happened?" The doctor asked before stepping into the house and closing the door behind him. He followed her into the kitchen where she handed him an envelope. "Came to me this morning." She said. He looked at her before opening the envelope, and pulling the paper out. "Divorce papers. You're getting a divorce?" He asked trying to sound sympathetic. He was never good with human emotions. She nodded. "Why?" This was horrible. She really didn't want to tell him but she had to. She had to tell her best friend. "Rory found another girl. Someone who made him happy and gave him gifts and was better than me and willing to have another baby." She said looking down at her hands. The doctor put the papers back into the envelope before pulling her into a hug. He tightened his grip around. Oh how the doctor hated to see Amy upset.
