'How can I put into words that I felt the need to protect him because I saw myself? And the chance to help him become a better person than I could be? So instead of telling him the real reason I just ruffled his hair and smirked.'

Robin then proceeds to challenge Batman to a sparring match, which he then loses. I mean come on he's tha GodDamn Batman! You can't beat him yet.
