Disclaimer: I do not own Kuroko no Basuke.
Kuroko's lungs struggled for air, his chest rapidly heaved up and down.
His legs shook whilst supporting his upper torso, despite his light body frame.
A thick blanket of sweat covered his pale skin. Under the light, these droplets glistened like jewels.
Kuroko squinted as beads of perspiration rolled down from his ruffled hair, creating snail tracks along his forehead and finally dripping off his small pointed chin. Every muscle in his body ached. It felt as if needles were piercing through his back and cracking his bones.
Kuroko arched over giving his spine a lazy stretch and swung his arms around in an attempt to shake off his current lethargic feeling.
Kuroko shook his head in confusion as he couldn't find a reasonable explanation for this uncomfortable pain and drowsiness. He figured that his body should be feeling much more energetic and recharged after this routine.
It's not like he lacked exercise or endurance, he had been training along with everyone else in his basketball team every afternoon. Unless he was careless and accidentally over exerted himself during today's activity. Ah, the coach is going to kill him during tomorrow's practice for injuring himself.
Kuroko hung his head, having finally acknowledged that his stamina was no match for Tetsuya #2. Especially in long distance runs.
