I love you more than rice!
Rin noticed there was no one else in the club room yet. It was empty except for her childhood friend, whose wide eyes were glued to the screen.
The mouse clicks were forming a slow erratic tempo, yet her best friend was inhaling and exhaling rapidly, seemingly out of breath.
Rin crept into the room, holding out her gift behind her back.
It seemed like she had not noticed her yet.
She couldn't help but be curious with what her friend was looking at; What else would Hanayo love more than rice and idols?
She must be looking ARISE's new video nya~
Kayo-chin's reaaaaaaaally absorbed into the stuff today?
Convinced with her answer, Rin proceeded to unwrap the plastic wrapper from the rice ball, noticing that Hanayo didn't even hear her.
I wonder how she'll choose between them?!
She slowly stretched out her hand containing the rice ball…
And Hanayo's immediate reaction was to stare at the love of her (food) life.
IT'S HER BASIC INSTINCT NYA!?
She retracted her arm slowly, all the while Hanayo's mouth was trailing after the glorious ball of rice.
She could see the primal hunger within her friend's eyes.
The hunger and the need was evident.
Feeling foolishly brave, Rin removed her hand swiftly, and puckered her lips while waiting for the impact.
There was a rice ball in front of her and it was becoming distractingly tempting.
Compared to her screen which was on lowest brightness, the grains on the white rice seemed more dazzling and enticing.
The seaweed was elegantly wrapped around the grains, holding it together firmly.
It made her feel like unwrapping the green seal.
Not to mention it was also accompanied by one of the cutest hands she had ever seen.
She would recognise those fingers anywhere.
It took her a moment to realize that was a soft sensation on her forehead, and all too sudden she was surrounded by the familiar scent.
"Kayo-chin is exceptionally cute today nya! Especially with the fringe up!"
She hurriedly slammed the cover of her laptop down, overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events.
Rin just?
Did she see?
"Kayo-chin~"
Seemingly unsatisfied with her silence, her best friend took the initiative to sit on her lap, forcing her to look into her eyes.
"Kayo-chin is weird today nya… You have been ignoring me since I stepped inside."
Her friend then proceeded to embrace her with her daily bear hugs.
Yet this felt so much more crushing than usual.
"E-EH? Rin-chan!"
"It's okay Rin knows Kayo-chin loves her idol stuff!"
She could feel Rin tightening her hug.
"But…"
"Rin-chan?"
"Does Kayo-chin love me more than rice? More than her idols?"
"O-Of course I do!"
She ushered out the words, while giving the idiot a kiss on her nose.
There was no need to show her the proof on the computer.
The smile on Rin's face was so bright, so trusting; She knew she could never love anything more.
