"What do you mean you can't get it started?"
" I Can't get it started"
"Baka! You know what I meant!"
"Uhm...Sorry?"
"Not good enough!" The irate Senshi sputtered as she kicked the front-left tire yet again, "Omae o korosu..."
"I doubt that..." came the mutter from beneath the hood as a tail swished outside, "and the engine is scrap... I can't even tell if the valves are still able to move, let's see..." the tail shrinks in a bit as it's owner leans in and reaches toward the pile of goo that used to be the spark plug, "Gods, it looks like the engine just spontaneously melted..ITAI!" eminates from the hood, followed by a bang, a curse of indeterminate origin, and the removal of the Saiyajin's head from beneath the hood, a trickle of blood dripping from above his eyebrow and his hand throbbing red. He slams the hood the down and backs away, muttering. A smirk spreads across the face of his companion, "Hurt yourself, kid?"
"Not really, no.. Why don't you try grabbing a white-hot sparkplug with your bare hand? It's exilerating!"
"No dice kid."
"You're no fun."
"I'm a lot of fun, you just have to figure out how to play the game."
"I'll...hope you didn't say that..."
"I didn't," smiles the Senshi, walking over to the guardrail and peering down at the white sand and blue sea, "At least we broke down in a nice spot..."
"Nice spot my tailed ass. It's hot, I'm starting to sweat, and your endless bitching has nearly driven me to throwing you into that water!"
"Go ahead and try..."
"I just might... If I could cool off," sighed Trunks as he sat down next to Haruka on the guard rail, "Why did you beg me to drive out to this end of the country?"
"I needed to get away... plain and simple," stated Haruka with a finality that meant, "If you ask me again I will tear the tail from your ass and use it to whip you to within an inch of your life."
"Hrmph, of course... Well, we aren't going to get any farther with that junk-heap," realized the Saiyan with a wave of his hand, "We have two choices: we can walk the rest of the way to the city, or I can try to fly us there..."
"You should be able to fly us there, it's not that much farther and you're a strong lad," laughed Haruka as she moved over to Trunks, "Just don't drop me."
"I won't,"muttered Trunks, "though it is tempting," he joked as he grabbed Haruka around the waist and lifted off, turning toward their destination.

Jusenkyo

"We're lost."
"That much was obvious."
"What should we do now? Look, there's a hut amongst those springs, let's see if someone there can help," said Trunks, pointing down toward the hut. He turned downward and set Haruka down near the springs, landing next to her.
"This looks like an old training ground or something, see all those bamboo poles in the center of each spring?"
"Yeah, I see them.. Hey, I remember this place. I saw it in a book on training my mom had before I came back in time. I think it's someplace called the 1,000 springs..."
"Jusenkyo..there's something wierd about this place..."
"I feel it too..."
"I think we should DUCK!!" hollers Haruka as she grabs the saiyan by the shoulder and tugs him downward, a small ball of energy flying over their heads and into one of the bamboo poles, making a brief flash and slight gust of wind.
The world spun brightly for a moment, and then suddenly, without warning, consciousness left the two.
