This is going to be a Will Benedict fanfiction and it's set after Seeking Crystal. Alexis is from the Netherlands but she moved to America with her brother.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Jensen, I'm 22 years old, a savant and I come from The Netherlands. Three years ago me and my brother moved to Boulder, his soulfinder lives there and because we had nothing left in the Netherlands it was easy for us to make a new start.
I can imagine that not all of you know what a savant is so let me explain what it means.
Savants are humans with special abilities, such as telepathy. Every Savant has his own special gift, I for example can compel people to do things I want them to do. When I was little I sometimes used it on my brother Connor to let him do my chores, I let him think that he wanted to do them and it always worked. My powers are a lot stronger now but I rarely use them. My brother's powers are also stronger now he is older, at first he could only read emotions but now he could also control them.
Savant also have a soulfinder, they are your other half. Together you are balanced and powerful. But without your soulfinder you wil eventually become unstable, more moody, more angry and most of the savants without a soulfinder turn to the evil side.
To be a soulfinder you have to be the same age, your birthday's has to be close to each other like in the same week or month but the most important thing is that you have to be conceived at the same time. Finding your soulfinder is not that easy, they can live in your city, in the same country or at the other side of the world. You either have to be lucky or know a soulseeker.
A soulseeker is a savant with the gift of finding your other half but they're very rare.
You never know for sure who your soulfinder is until you used telepathy, you feel the connection and instantly your world changes and no one is more important than him or her.
My parents where soulfinders and believe it or not but they're the reason why I don't want to find mine. My dad died in a fight, he got shot and we could do nothing to save him. A few weeks after his death my mom killed herself because she couldn't handle the pain of losing him. I didn't only see my father die I also saw my mother slowly drowning in pain and I was the one who found her body. After that day I decided that I didn't want a soulfinder, my brother agreed but that all changed when he found Olivia. Liv was his soulfinder and she instantly made him change his mind. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for him and I love Olivia but I still sticked with my decision. Maybe I would come around when I found him but I wasn't ready yet.. Or at least, that was what I thought.
