Disclaimer: I own nothing, at all. Well except for the novel I'm trying to write...
I was always the fool wasn't I?
I loved the traitor and spat on the hero.
Mind you he wasn't always a traitor and you would never think the dead-last would be so strong.
Yet even though there destinies were so different, they were so much the same.
If he hadn't left, they would have never needed me.
They were the perfect team.
Where one was weak the other was strong and vice versa.
Two sides of the same coin.
They both came from the same place of loneliness but followed two very different paths.
He constantly is searching for power without thinking of others and the other swearing to protect everyone till his dying breath.
The ironic thing is that the one who betrayed us had it much better than the one who wishes to protect us.
If logic had any sense in these two lives it would be the opposite.
The one who wants to protect us was spat on, was hated by everyone but the one who left was adored and praised.
Both were lonely, both were orphans but at least the betrayer had people who were kind to him, even if it was just because of a family name.
The other had no one and when he finally found those who treated him kindly, he swore to protect them to his dying breath.
Naruto…
You don't have to keep your promise.
I broke my own first.
Even though we said it, it didn't hold through.
We are not three in one.
Perhaps we never were.
Haruno Sakura
Fool
Nebula: It's sort of a reflection of how Sakura felt after the Valley of the End. She had a lot of growing up to do
Star: It's not that she was a bad person, it's just she was very sheltered and even though she was very smart she didn't understand that a person was more than just what others said about them
Skye: She never bothered to take her sensei's advice and look 'underneath the underneath' nor did she understand the pain in the hearts of her two teammates.
Nebula: Her actions for most of the first part (Pre-Shippuden) were extremely childish.
Star: Mind you during Shippuden she has defintely matured. She didn't really have a choice in the matter.
Skye: Yeah, with her being trained by Tsunade, skill-wise it was either get better or die
