Just to be walking next to Sakaki was a dream come true. Kaorin was only vaguely aware of the blooming flowers, the grassy field and the cloudless sky surrounding them, her eyes were entirely focused on the statuesque goddess walking beside her.

Suddenly, she felt pressure on her shoulde. Turning around she realized Sakaki's hand was there; she gave a little yelp, stumbled over her own feet and her tongue seemed to trip over itself. Sakaki looked either amused or concerned, it was hard to tell.

"What's wrong?"

"Uh, I...I...I just..." Kaorin stamped her foot. "I'm sorry, you just-I mean, I, it was..."

"You don't have to be afraid of me, you know," Sakaki said.

"No, it's not that, how could anyone be afraid of someone so amazing like you?!" Kaorin stammered. "You...simply startled me, that's all! I was so focused on all this beauty around us..." Or rather the beauty beside me, she thought.

Sakaki smiled, this time looking oddly relieved.

"When you get flustered like that, it's...rather cute."

Kaorin would have melted if Sakaki hadn't put her arm back around her then.

"Here...so you don't fall again," she said, but Kaorin barely heard her.
