DouWata Poems

(There's only two, but whatever.)

Doumeki:

If you're stuck in a web,

I'll help you out.

I'm fine if you yell,

I'm fine if you shout.

You're falling from the sky,

I'll take your hand.

If you're getting hit,

I'll take a stand.

You might not want me,

Here right by your side.

But I won't let you be washed up

In the emotional tide.

You think no one cares.

You think no one loves.

But you're still very wrong,

'Cause I'm someone who does.

Watanuki:

It was almost too close for comfort,

When your hand brushed against mine.

Clinging dearly to that stem,

Our fingers almost intertwined.

You even stayed after sunset,

'Cause your biggest of fears,

Was that I'd be gone,

Even though the rainclouds grew near.

The softest of whispers,

Was my name as I slept,

A word on your breath.

Love was surely a secret you kept.

And I really feel all alone,

So broken and sad.

Why didn't you tell me?

Gosh, you make me so mad!

So what if we're colors,

On the gentle breeze of the day?

"I love you," are words,

I wish we could say.
