Her blonde hair mixed with the fine sand beneath them as they lay on the beach.
'I wish this summer didn't have to end.'
'Me either.'
He listened as her gentle breaths harmonised with the soft lapping of the waves.
'You'll come and see me?'
'I promise.' He smiled. 'Every Hogsmeade weekend, every match I can make, you know I'll be there.'
'And the Quidditch just happens to be a bonus.' She laughed, rolling onto her front, her arm stretched across his stomach.
He chuckled. 'We'll make it work, Victoire.'
'I know.'
'I love you.'
'I love you too, Teddy.'
A/N: My first steps onto the ship of Teddy and Victoire, and Next Gen fanfic altogether. I love these two as a couple, I think there's a real delicate sweetness to them. I'm not sure how deep I'll go into writing fanfiction on the two, Dramione is my OTP after all. But here's a little summer fluff for the meantime.
This is a one-shot for the moment, it entirely depends on the reaction it gets. I have some ideas for evolving this or writing another piece on Teddy/Victoire. What do you think? Please review if you have time, feedback of any kind can only help writers.
