CHAPTER 1
BPOV.
when i woke up i was laying next to a small note it said Dear Bella
i went hunting i will be back at noon the only person home is Alec but don't worry Felix will be there soon
love demetri.
i put the note into the trash can and went down stairs i sat next to alec he was drinking a cup of blood through a straw. i shook off the thought that that cup of blood had once been a human. i looked at alec he was staring at the huge television i finaly worked up the guts to talk 'alec?' he looked at me 'yea?' 'do you think i'm dumb for being with demetri?' i asked 'i think that if you love him it's not dumb you guys make a cute couple anyways.'
i looked at the cup of milk in front of me and my stomach curtled. then i looked back at alec and kissed his cheek he pushed me away from him gently making sure not to hurt me (he was always gentle) 'don't' he said getting up and walking away.
i was just trying to say thank you but whatever. then there was a beep on the intercome it was either heidi or gianna i clicked the talk button and spoke 'yes?' 'hi it's gianna your friend is here bella' she said ' um...ok which one?' i asked 'um emmett and edward actually' 'ok send them up' i said 'k' she said then hung up. then the door bell rang i got up and opened the door 'hi edward' 'hello' he replied while walking in and looking around astonished ' nice pla...well castle' 'thanks' i replied then emmett came through the door and had me in a bear hug 'hey emmett' 'sup and nice crib' he replied 'yea i know it's kinda nice' then edward looked at me '?so where's that piece of trash you call your fiance'
