Beatrice was divergent. Tori had just told her. But as of the choosing ceremony, what faction would she choose? Tori recommended staying in Abnegation, or going to Dauntless. She did not mention Amity, Erudite, or Candor. But she was certainly not expecting to be divergent, not at all. What would she do, now that Tori said that she had become a danger to society? Should she tell her parents? Maybe Caleb? Surely not Susan and Robert. Her parents would probably find out somehow. She decided also to not tell Caleb, as she was sure he would stay in Abnegation, where he belonged, so he would figure it out with her parents, smart as he was. Should she pick Abnegation and be selfless for the rest of her life? Probably not, she was not selfless enough. Her mom came into the room, and asked how did the tests run. "Fine", she answered. She figured she could not be Candor, she lied too easily. She wasn't a great student, she had good grades, but not high enough o be Erudite, and she was a coward. That blocked her from being a Dauntless. Maybe Amity, but she wasn't exactly the kindest person. This was an extremely hard decision, you shouldn't be forced to choose your future at the young age of sixteen. But that was her reality.
