My gun is against her temple, and there's no fear in her eyes.
Suddenly, I'm all too aware that there's far more of my flesh touching hers than ever should be. There's cloth between, but our position is all kinds of compromisin' in ways I can't help but think about.
Shit.
Despite everything, my body reacts to her, and I'll be damned if I'm not tempted.
In another time, maybe I would've… no… I'm not him anymore, and no one leaves me and mine to die.
